Strongly recommended! A process for leading and for life
This is a great book. I've read the other two books by McKee and Boyatzis, and this takes the core ideas around hope and compassion and makes them more concrete for the leader. I was surprised by how inspired I became from actually doing the exercises. I feel grounded and clearer about what I want from my work, and from life. Strongly recommended.

Fran's War Against the Machines, Another Great Adventure in This Sensational Series!
The Fran With Four Brains is book six in this great series of adventures following one of the most interesting and well written child characters to come along in a very long time. For those who have only read this great book and are wondering which of Benton's former books in the series to buy first, I'd recommend Jim Benton's first three Franny K masterpieces Lunch Walks Among Us, Attack of the ...

A great read
A great book on innovation and outside the box thinking. Many innovators may find that their thinking, curiosity, and intuitiveness are outlined in the pages of this book. Use it as a catalyst for new ideas and possibilities. Ideation, in today's world, must have a broader scope and more examination. This book will help spark the possibilities within you.

This was one of the best graphic erotic novels that I have. The story line was great and the women are just outstanding. I hope there is a vol. 2. If you are going to get an erotic graphic novel this is one to have.

Handy for Residency
This Handbook contains in synopsis form most of the information included in the basic ACLS course, including all of the main algorithms. Also, it includes the BLS algorithm and short sections in the back that include PALS and Neonatal Resuscitation info. Of note, the algorithms included for the ACLS and BLS are the newly revised AHA versions (the ones that went into effect on July 1, 2006), ...

PALS Manual
Exactly as the book describes. This is the official AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Manual. It's a good book. It reads, details, and instructs as all other AHA manuals do. This revision of the books is much smaller, which I like a lot. They have left out a lot of the pictures and remedial review stuff that a provider of this level should already know. I love the quick reference cards ...

A proper mystery!
I think you have to be a kid or a kid at heart to properly understand the magic of this book. What kid did not dream of running away? Here is a girl, a very practical girl, who makes that dream come true. She and her younger brother create an elaborate plan to run away and hide in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Remember, this was written before huge advancements in security. As they live an ...

Great info, great pictures, recommended resource
There are a lot of pretty home design books out there that have very little information tucked between the pictures. This book is full of information but also has a number of handsome photos of pools, spas, and water gardens which will give you ideas if you are planning a custom designed pool or tub. It's a great resource for someone thinking of installing these features in their backyard, and ...

Looks to be pretty tasty, and there's an odd little treat in the chocolate section
I've only made a few dishes in the short while I've had this book, but there looks to be so many tasty and delicious recipes here: warm goat cheese salad, wild mushroom salad, onion soup, green beans with pine nuts and feta, gascony tomato soup, wonderful fish, poultry and beef entrees, and decidedly delicious deserts! But lets face it folks, I'm a man who loves to spend time in the kitchen and ...

This book is amazing. I was delighted to find that it was written in a style that is informative, without bombarding us with unnecessary clutter (which can become overwhelming). Alaska cruise stops
This is a very helpful guide for those taking an Alaska cruise; it helps you choose the right cruise for your objectives. It reviews the various landtours available but I particularly like the section in each port-of-call that suggests self-conducted tours with detailed maps, costs, and directions. For example, I will be taking a bus available near the pier to see Mendenhall Glacier (near ...

I really enjoy De Waal's books. They are all well written with a very entertaining and easy to read style. He knows his subjects thoroughly and has the unique ability to convey that knowledge in such a way that is accessible to everyone. He doesn't talk down to his audience, but is able to put the information in a context that is easy to understand. Many times those who reach the top of their ...

Wonderful read; very well written.
This book was lent to me by a friend, and after reading I felt it necessary to purchase my own copy. I would have never made this choice, this text is completely outside my normal reading genres, but I'm very glad I did. Frans de Waal provides and extremely well written thesis on his views of morality in humans, his views are then analyzed by others, and closes with his response. I haven't read ...
