Don't Let the Girly Imagery Fool You
My father purchashed the first 10 issues of the first annual of "Amethyst Princess of the Gemworld" shortly after I was born in January of 1983 thinking it would be an excellent way to get his new daughter into comics. And it worked pretty much but do not let the girly cheesy titles of "Princess" and "Gemworld" fool you. This was a very dark compelling universe DC created with many adult themes. ...
