Hell Hath No Fury: Women's Letters from the End of the Affair9 reviews
Anna Holmes

Ballantine Books, 2003

Great gift
This book is simply a lot of fun to flip through. It's a neat way to see a different side of famous figures, ranging from Lady Mary Wortley Montagu to George Sand to Dorothy Sayers to Anne Boleyn, Mary Wollstonecraft, Charlotte Bronte... I was impressed with the sheer range of figures represented. It's an addictive read.

What Hath God Wrought19 reviews

Grady Publications, 1996

A Much Needed History Lesson
I highly recommend this book. It's very informative and lists all the sources to back up what is written within. While I recommend this book for everyone, I would especially recommend this book for all professing Christians.

Hell Hath No Fury: True Stories of Women at War from Antiquity to Iraq1 review
Rosalind Miles, Robin Cross

Three Rivers Press, 2008

A culturally balanced anthology of heroines and organizations
Gen Douglas MacArthur quoted a popular British song of World War I with "Old Soldiers Never Die; they only fade away" during his change of command speech in 1951. That quote very aptly describes any noble warrior. Rosalind Miles and Robin Cross do female warriors a great service by keeping their stories alive for a new generation in "Hell Hath no Fury: True Stories of Women at War from ...

What Hath God Wrought: The Transformation of America, 1815-1848 (Oxford History of the United States)26 reviews
Daniel Walker Howe

Oxford University Press, USA, 2007

Essential American History
This is a book every American lover of history should read and own. The detail of research is both exhaustive and often entertaining. Whether its military, religious, political or cultural, Daniel Howe covers it in telling detail. Enjoy this as a good, long read, or simply explore the chapters or areas of interest you are investigating. A wonderful reference for social studies teachers who seek ...

Helen Hath No Fury11 reviews
Gillian Roberts

Fawcett, 2001

The Amanda Pepper series is a continuing delight.
Gillian Roberts is a wonderful mystery writer. In each of her books, there is always at least one point when I laugh out loud at her witty phrasing, and when she's at her very best, as she is in "Helen Hath No Fury," I laugh from beginning to end (look for Roberts' vivid description of the effects of humidity). Amanda Pepper is a high school teacher in Philadelphia. Although she has a live-in ...

Hell Hath No Curry: A Pennsylvania Dutch Mystery (Pennsylvania Dutch Mysteries with Recipes)11 reviews
Tamar Myers

Signet, 2008

Best of the series
I was fearful that Tamar Myers was losing the oomph to this series of mysteries that feature Magdalena Portulaca Yoder, the Mennonite innkeeper, detective, mayor, and wealthiest resident of Hernia, Pennsylvania. But this offering far exceeded my hopes and expectations. This book is the very best of the lot. The plot is almost unimportant. Sure, there's a murder, but it occurs early and we ...

Hell Hath No Fury (BOOK 2 in new MULTIVERSE series) (Multiverse)21 reviews
David Weber, Linda Evans

Baen, 2008

Second in the excellent Multiverse series
This is the second in the "Multiverse" series by Dave Weber and Linda Evans and follows on from the excellent "Hell's Gate." Tells the story of contact and increasingly of conflict between two civilisations, both spanning multiple universes. Between one and two centuries before the events of these novels, portals start to open between different versions of the planet earth - apparently ...

Yea, Hath God Said?: The Framework Hypothesis/Six-Day Creation Debate2 reviews
Kenneth L., Jr. JR. Gentry, Michael R. Butler

Wipf & Stock Publishers, 2002

Helpful study
An important debate in the modern world is that between evolutionism and creationism. Evolutionism explains the reality, ethics, and knowledge by a gigantic explosion out of nothing 13.5 billion years ago. Creationism explains these important matters by the sovereign action of the rational, all powerful Creator. This book demolishes a compromised Christian position known as the framework ...

He Hath Loosed the Fateful Lightning: The Battle of Ox Hill (Chantilly), September 1, 18623 reviews
Paul Taylor

White Mane Publishing Company, 2003

A terrific book on a overlooked battle
Paul Taylor has done a tremendous job in presenting this over looked but extremely important battle that too often gets caught up as a one or two paragraph afterthought of the Second Manassas Campaign. Taylor offers a good narrative in explaining the significance of the action here.Prior to reading this book I knew very little about General Issac Stevens decisivness and bravery that day,and how ...

Enemy Hath Done This11 reviews
Ezra T. Benson

Bookcraft Pubs, 1992

An Enemy Hath Done This by Ezra Taft Benson
This book does an excellent job of outlining what American freedom is, why it exists, and what must be done to keep it. It debunks many of the common lies spread by socialists, communists and fascists that threaten freedom around the world and in America. Every good citizen should read this book, heed its warnings, and take the actions urged by its learned author.

Astonishing X-Men: Gambit, Vol. 2 - Hath No Fury2 reviews
John Layman, Georges Jeanty, ...

Marvel Comics, 2005

Why was this book cancelled?
Gambit: Hath no Fury is the brilliant follow up to Gambit: House of Cards. The scripting is fast paced, the characterization is fierce and the penciling tight. All this technical brilliance sparkles around 3 tales of our favorite Cajun. In Voodoo Economics, reprinting Gambit #7-9, we meet Detective Noreen Takana, a ruthless career driven police officer that get tangled up with our favorite ...

What God Hath Joined7 reviews
Terrance A. Sweeney

Random House Value Publishing, 1995

No man is an Island
I walked away from this book wondering so many things, like: Why is it that the representatives of the Catholic Church refuse to just admit when they have made a mistake? Instead of admitting fallibility with laws on celibacy, they continue to put people through such trials (as was experienced by Fr. and Mrs. Sweeney in this enlightening book), and call upon people to accept and live with ...

22 Days Hath November9 reviews
Bob Dorff

bobdorffbooks.com, 2007

Fresh
Like everyone who was in college in the 60s, I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news that Kennedy had been shot. Now, upon reading this novel 43 years later, I was surprised by how compelling and fresh the JFK the story still can be, due in large part to Robert Dorff's skill as a writer. "Twenty Two Days Hath November" is a real "page-turner," and the research is impeccable. I ...
