How to speak dragonese
My 9yr. old loved this book. He says it has lots of adventure, not a dull moment and you will love the ending. Any book that can keep a child reading on there own is top notch with me.

Fabulous series
Wonderfully written, wonderful artwork, funny, engaging -- it has it all. My 9 y/o and I have been reading the whole series. We just wish there were more. The language can be a bit coarse for those of a tender bent (various fart references) -- but what do you think 9 y/o talk about anyway? The artwork really is pretty special and is in keeping with the author's premise of this being the ...

Great read alouds-- amusing for adults and kids
These books are fantastic-- dark, funny, exciting, entertaining. My 6 year old daughter loves them and I must admit that I love reading them aloud to her. I find myself chuckling and then caught up in the adventure. This is a lovely collection, but there is a newer one that also contains the thirteenth and last book.

I.e. is there a possible ...

It was super, duper great!!! (Kid Review)
My Name is Jack and I'm 8 years old and I love to read. I read this book in three days because I just couldn't stop reading. I loved it because it was funny, surprising, and one of the best books I've read. My favorite part was when the boat sinks and Hiccup ends up in an underwater cave and finds the treasure of Grimbeard the Gastly. It's all about Pirates, Vikings and Dragons which I love. ...
