The "I Can't Believe This Has No Sugar" Cookbook12 reviews
Deborah E. Buhr

St. Martin's Griffin, 1997

New to no sugar
I am very happy with this cookbook! My family didn't know the difference between pie made with white sugar and pie made with apple juice concentrate! Author does a great job of explaining how to measure ingredients to get the desired results. I would highly recommend this book to anyone!

I Can't Believe I'm Still Single: Sane, Slightly Neurotic (but in a Sane Way) Filmmaker into Good Yoga, Bad ...44 reviews
Eric Schaeffer

Running Press, 2007

Great book! -(if you're not sexually repressed and have an intelligent sense of humor)
I loved this book. I could not put it down! I wouldn't suggest it to just anyone, though. This book is not for you if you are a sexually repressed, uptight person. The humor in this book is crude at times, but always intelligent, in my opinion. I'm an instant fan and can't wait until Mr. Schaeffer writes his next book!

Justice League: I Can't Believe It's Not the Justice League6 reviews
Keith Giffen, J.M. DeMatteis

DC Comics, 2005

I liked it
While I did not read its predacessor "formally the justice league" I had no trouble following the joke behind this. Like most comics I enjoy this book contains characters that are under used and under appreciated on the whole, and they are funny. I am disappointed only by the fact that three of the main characters in this, Sue Dinby, Blue Beetle, and Max Lord are all now dead. And others have ...

Kay Meadors, Leisure Arts

Let Kay Meadors teach you about yarns, charts, tools, stitches, and helpful hints. Then with the patterns in this book, you ...

Evan Marc Katz

Ten Speed Press, 2004

The proof is in the RESULTS
There is a right way and wrong way to go about online dating. I had been doing it the wrong way. Some of the tips he gives I had never even thought about before and realize he is exactly right. This is one of the rare books I intend to read again just to make sure everything sinks in. Anyway I have been heeding his advice and there is no greater proof that it works than by the results I have ...

Excellent!
So you've looked in your local health food store and seen the "Veggie Ribs" and "Chiken Patties" mixes and thought, "Ya, right! " Well think again! I Can't Believe It's Yoga!: The Ultimate Beginner's Workout for Men and Women7 reviews
Lisa Trivell, Peter Field Peck

Hatherleigh Press, 1999

Intimidated by yoga? Don't hesitate to buy this book.
I began looking into yoga because my back and legs hurt constantly after standing up at work all day. Most of the books on the subject out there seemed to be either too difficult or else plagued by a condescending writing style. This was the exception. It looked approachable--not too many exercises that just looked flat-out impossible. So I bought it and took it home. That was about three weeks ...

I Can't Believe You Asked That!: The Ultimate Q&A about Race, Sex, Religion, and Other Terrifying Topics6 reviews
Phillip Milano

Perigee Trade, 2004

Entertaining...
This is an entertaining book, filled with different people's perceptions on race, sexuality and culture. The format is simple: A question is asked and various people answer the question based on their experience. At the end of each question an 'expert' answers the question putting closure on the topic. I was vastly entertained by the subject of sexuality, race and ethnicity. (Although some ...

I Can't Believe I Said That!: An Autobiography1 review
Kathie Lee Gifford

Pocket Books, 1992

Review: I Can't Belive I Said That
I read the autobiography of Kathie-Lee Gifford. The book was based on a girl who was born in a small French town struggled though her upbringing, and managed to make it big. The author made excellent use of various writing tools, including flashbacks, when she describes her childhood. Also, the author was good in the way things were phrased (ex. instead of saying, she didn't have the best ...

I Can't Believe I'm Crocheting: Updated Edition (Leisure Arts #4061)2 reviews
Leisure Arts

Leisure Arts, Inc., 2006

Perfect for new crocheters!
I bought this book after getting frustrated trying to learn how to crochet from the black and white drawings found in other crochet books/pamphlets. I found the instructions and photos extremely easy to follow, and also liked that the book has supplementary information on hook sizes, yarn types, decreasing and increasing stitches, and felting crocheted items. The book does seem to be geared ...

Stacey Mayo

Publisher: Gold Leaf Publishing, 2004

Don't Just Dream, Read This Book To Design Your Action Plan
Why did Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ignite a worldwide movement with his "I Have a Dream" speech? The answer is simple: because we all have dreams, aspirations, inner sparks yearning to become flames. Sometimes these dreams are private. We may not even admit them fully to ourselves. Traditionally, these are our "pipe dreams," our Walter Mitty fantasies. At other times we describe our ...
