If You Could Read My Mind - A Nicholas Turner Novel 4 reviews T. M. Bilderback
CreateSpace, 2009
Not your usual story! I love detective stories, especially ones with drama and humor. He has created a character that is flawed but hopeful. What makes this one such a good read is the unusual twist that slants the story, especially for something that could have been mostly dark.
If your looking for a story that will make think as well as make you laugh, but not in that same ole style, then you must read this book. ...

I Could've Written a Better Movie Than That! : How to Make Six Figures as a Script Consultant Even If You're ... 26 reviews Derek Rydall
Michael Wiese Productions, 2005
A must in every screenwriter's library Read and analyse your script from cover page, FADE IN to FADE OUT. Derek Rydall packs a lot of useful information in this well thought out, well written book. This is the meat and potatoes of the biz.
Do yourself a huge favor and read this book before you submit your next script. Chapter Two shows you how the studios see the difference between an amateur wannabee and a pro. Chapter Four brings ...

How to Be Creative If You Never Thought You Could 5 reviews Tera Leigh
North Light Books, 2003
alt. title: Sparking creativity in the creative person! Today I got Tera's new book in the mail, "How To Be Creative If You Never Thought You Could." I think an alternate title could be "How to spark your creativity when you know you are creative!" I felt a surge of creativity when I opened it. This is not your run-of-the-mill project book. I generally steer away from project books because they are geared toward step-by-steps for a certain card, or ...

If You Could Hear What I See 11 reviews Kathy Buckley, Lynette Padwa
Plume, 2003
Poignant and Beautiful This poignant and beautifully written tale is both inspiring and hysterically funny! An easy read, but brilliantly written, it ties the reader to the book. Without pity, Kathy portrays herself and shows her life through wit and humor that can bring a tear to your eye without making you feel sorry for her. Instead it helps you see your life in better perspective and inspires the reader to ...

The Affluent Artist: How Creative Could You Be If Money Wasn't an Issue? the Money Book for Creative People 12 reviews Rick Dibiasio
Morgan James Publishing, 2008
I am Inspired and Encouraged by Rick Dibiasio's "The Affluent Artist" I began Rick's book on a day when the inspiration was much needed. As I began to read through the book, I was especially impressed by the story of Sue Thompson, moving through all manner of life challenges to achieve her dreams and artistic creation.
I was so enlivened by Rick's ability to translate and relate artistry with the action needed to create consciously and responsibly in life.

If You Could See What 3 reviews Tom Sullivan, D. Gill
Signet, 1982
A Favorite After All These Years I gave this book 5 stars because it has to be at least 20 years since I read it last (read it over and over and over then) and I still remember it with a great deal of fondness. My personal favorite has to be his descriptions of spending the summer in Scituate Mass--my mother was great friends with Tommy and his family and this is one of those books that just gives lots of laughs and reflections.

If Only You Could Read My Mind: A Guide to Help Couples Understand Each Other and Connect 1 review Clare Bowles, Christine Tripp, ...
General Store Publishing House, 2000
Down to earth and practical to a couple new to MBTI The cartoon of a couple each reaching past the other is what attracted me to pick up this book. Then when I flipped through it and saw that it was Psychological Type based, I bought it for my collection. This is a book that a couple therapist wrote and had published to fill a need. It is something a couple could take away with them and are likely to read. Usually the couple can understand the ...

What If You Could Unscramble an Egg 2 reviews Robert Ehrlich, Gary Ehrlich, 1998
An excellent, thought-provoking book. I saw this book lying on the table at a friend's house and picked it up, which turned out to be a mistake, because I just kept reading it throughout my stay there. It kept me turning pages, wanting to find out more about the world. It is written in such a way that the average person can follow the concepts, and the dialogue between the two characters adds humor and allows for more questions ...

If You Could Only Choose Your Mother 1 review Julie Harford
Samhain Publishing, 2008
5 stars Five years ago, Marcie's mother walked out, and in the intervening years, her dad has dated some. The latest one is Eva, a rather maternal type who is actually older than he is, but all her good qualities only make Marcie resent her more; not that she wants her mother back, she just doesn't want another woman there either. Nor is she thrilled when her absentee parent demands that she and her ...

If You Could Be My Friend: Letters of Mervet Akram Sha'Ban and Galit Fink (Venture - Health & the Human Body) 2 reviews Marvet Adram Sha'Ban, Galit Fink, ...
Orchard Books (NY), 1998
At the very LEAST this book is an educational treasure I came across this book by accident. It almost brings tears to my eyes just thinking about what I experienced in the pages of this book. This educational treasure cuts through the clutter of daily news and brings you to the personal and political front lines of two girls seperated by war. Somewhere in each letter is the innocence of youth, however at all times there is a learned vehemance ...
