How to Grill: The Complete Illustrated Book of Barbecue Techniques 150 reviews Steven Raichlen
Workman Publishing Company, 2001
The stuff that dreams are made of Bought this book shortly after buying our Weber grill. After having a copy checked out of the library for 2 months, decided it was time to buy my own copy. My husband would take it to bed for evening reading, even had me read him a "bedtime story" from it (recipe for baby back ribs). This book is fantastic for those of us (like me) who need help with the grilling basics, but equally wonderful for ...

Should Be Newberry Medal Book I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for not only an adventure but also an extremely well written story of life. I loved reading it. Every page either had me surprised or blown away. It feels like your actually there. This book sucks you in from the first couple words, and drops you off when you wish it hadn't! If you haven't read this book yet you are missing out. This book tells ...

The New Best Recipe: All-New Edition with 1,000 Recipes 199 reviews Editors of Cook's Illustrated Magazine
America's Test Kitchen, 2004
Classic! I agree with one of the reviewers that he/she feels like a pro using the "The Best" series. I've cooked from this book and several of "The Best" Series and they ALL came up excellent according to the people and guests to whom I'd served them: from Asian to Italian to restaurant cooking, and many more. It takes away the guessing from what I've been doing. I agree with the editors that their books ...

Perfect for the mat I love this book! it has all the positions you can think of, and different ways of doing each one to make them easier or more advanced. I loved how it showed the guy in the book doing yoga poses on cliffs and stuff. It was inspirational (although i won't be doing that anytime soon!) It came in great condition, and quickly.

The Anatomy of Peace: Resolving the Heart of Conflict 66 reviews
Berrett-Koehler Publishers, 2008
An apparently additional redundant POSITIVE review Well, that is pretty impressive. At the time of writing this review there are currently 64 reviews, and of those 59 are 5-star and 5 are 4-star. Really, that should say a lot.
The Arbinger Institute has crafted one of the best works on understanding the root of peace in humanity that I have ever seen. The "warring in your heart" concept is something we all probably innately understand, but ...

Everything you need in one book. As with most resort destinations there's no shortage of written material to mull through when planning a vacation. I ordered this book based on the reviews on Amazon and once I received it I put all the other material in the recycling bin. It was simply the best! My only regret is that I didn't order two copies as we're a family of four and quite often we found ourselves arguing over whose turn ...

My favorite children's book Note: My reviews are plagued by cyber stalkers who distort votes totals.
If I HAD to answer the question: What is your favorite children's book?, I would have to pick "Stellaluna." There, this children's librarian committed, but I think my students would know that. It's one of their favorites, too!!
