WOW (in a bad way)
First off, this is the lowest review score I have ever given I dont usually do bad reviews...I dont know where to start but to say others arnt exagerrating this book is not up to the standards of the others. I will admit I wanted there to be more sex, more bedroom type fun ;) I had no idea that when it came everything else would suffer a GREAT deal! She screwed everyone and please no more its ...

NOAH is a great paranormal romance
Demon King, Noah is beloved by his subjects because he cares about them and protects them from their enemies. Although adulated by his people, Noah is also lonely as his closets friends are Imprinted (mated) and the woman he believes is his Destiny only appears in his dreams. He has never met her in person. Kestra shares Noah's erotic dreams, but she assumes the hunk she desires is a subject ...

OMG!! I absolutely Love this book! Anita FINALLY makes love to richard.. and its so much more with him than it is with jean claude! The details in this book are amazing! I felt as if i were right there with anita.. or i was anita. I liked how she was possessed by raina and demanded richard to claim her once again as his mate.. and she had to ecscape all the other wolves so she wouldnt have been ...

Bloody Brilliant
This author was suggested to me by a friend. I am pleased to report that it was all and more than they had boasted. Laurel K. Hamilton is an amazingly brilliant author. Her writing is elegant and captivating, yet simple and effective. Truly a series of novels that keep you wanting more from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book to everyone - Especially if you like vampires!

So far, all books in the Nightwalker's series have been fantastic
I'm a big fan of this series, and the latest book is no exception. Everything is very high quality - the writing, the story line, the romantic side, etc. Frankly I think this series is second only to the BDB by JR Ward. I can't wait to get my hands on "Noah" (book 5).

Some will love it, others will hate it.
This book continues the evolution (or devolution, depending on your point of view) of the Anita Blake character and the series as a whole. At the beginning of this series, the sex was rated PG, the violence R. As the series has progressed, the violence has remained constant, the sex become more prevalent. In "Blue Moon", the book two before this in the series, I said that the sex had matched the ...

A new world for me
I have just discovered a new world, and I like it! I normally don't read books like this and I am sorry I didn't delve into this world sooner! I had read the Twilight series (it was a gift, I wouldn't have even bothered if it was me picking out reading material) and I liked it, but it was written for young adult so there was a lot of teenage angst in it. I was looking at recommendations and I ...

Great new series
It is always a pleasure to find a new and unique new series. I was not interested in this series at first because the blog just didn't call to me, but after witnessing so many fabulous reviews on this book I wanted to know what all the hype was. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this book was just as fabulous as so many reviewers implied. The story is bursting with mystery, danger, ...

Really exciting!
BESTIAL takes the basic premise that lycanthropy becomes an airborne virus with only a few people whop are immune, and it makes a thrilling read out of it. This is cinematic stuff. I am Legend with werewolves instead of vampires/zombies. It reels from one rip-snorting set piece to the next without so much as pausing for breath. Hollywood take note! Also, there's a real depth of character ...

A Great Addition to the Anita Blake Series
I've read this series from book 1 (Guilty Pleasures) and have loved each book. Anita has become such a complex character and her supporting cast members are enigmatic and beautifully created. Yes, the books are much different than they were in the first few installments, but I don't believe that to be a bad thing. Cerulean Sins carries on with a character introduced in the previous book ...

Kitty is a new take
Kitty is a new take on the whole paranormal scene, I enjoy her very much. It isn't my favorite book or series but it is definately worth reading while you wait for that favorite book to come out. Unlike many in thie genre it won't leave you feeling like you just read a formula instead of a book.

Character growth, great writing
I started reading this series about three weeks ago, and though I have interspersed the books with other reading, I keep coming back to these. Since I started, every other book I read has been Anita Blake. Should I be worried that I'm growing a little obsessive with these? Have I spent too much of my time reading this series, when I could be reading something else? Should I change this system ...

Great story in a great series
This one went a different way for me than the last few have, which I think was the author's intention. In the last few books, the best part has been the character development and the memorably written scenes -- usually of gore and horror. This one had both, but the part I liked best was actually the plot: I liked that the danger Anita faced this time came from humans, rather than from monsters, ...

A warning label would help...
This novel should come with a warning label: DON'T run away just because this is a werewolf novel written in free verse. Because, let's face it, that sounds pretty dreadful. But it's amazing how well the experiment works in author Barlow's masterful hands. It's not only not hard to read, it may actually be *easier* and more fun to read than if Barlow had chosen to tell his tale more ...

Engaging Werewolf Fiction
I agree very much with E.R.'s review of this book- it is a wonderful story with a very engaging plot. I disagree with it being banned, especially when in comparison to today's television programming, but I'll leave it at that. If you don't mind a book containing what I believe is on par with today's teenage community, then I suggest reading this book. I myself have always liked vampires ...

I Love This Book

Love this series
This is the first in the series. The characters are strong and are woven repeatedly through the series. The books just get better and better. It was fun to encounter old friends in subsequent books. Exciting and well worth the time. My husband and I love this series.

Overly fragmentary, and slow plot advancement, but still enjoyable
Princess Meredith, the private detective and not-so-private Princess of Faerie, is back in this 4th installment in the Merry Gentry series. The race for the throne is underway, and Merry gets busy fulfilling her royal duties of trying to get pregent by one or more of her royal guards (all of the previously celtic dieties in centures and millenia past, when the primal forces of magic were much ...
