Excelente libro y muy bien escrito. Comencé a leerlo y me lo terminé en 2 dias. Lo recomiendo mucho para conocer esta historia de la mano de su protagonista, algo que la mayoria de los cubanos que nacimos con la revolucion no conociamos. Magnifico.

Saramago's style is just delicious, and he tells his life like a tale. Humble, too humble even for a nobel prize winner, and admirably humble in comparison to his homologues.
If you know Saramago, you will not be disappointed by this autobiography (with pictures in the end.) If you don't know him yet, this is an excellent piece to start.

I read the first book while doing an internship at a publishing company. Right away I became involved with the characters. I ordered the second book not long after finishing the first, and it took nearly a year to arrive. The wait was worth it.
