The Innovator's Solution: Creating and Sustaining Successful Growth51 reviews
Clayton M. Christensen, Michael E. Raynor

Harvard Business School Press, 2003

the real thing
As CEO of LMS Technical for 28 years, my use of books to help me plan, sustain and improve my business has been a priority. Introduced to this book by my daughter who is presently a student of Christensen, I was skeptical that a "Harvard" read would be too far off the track for a small consulting firm like ours. WRONG! For the past two months, the application of his core beliefs had led our firm ...

Oxford University Press, USA, 1993

Outstanding mongraph for biostatisticians
I find all other so-called biostatistics books are helpless until I have read this book. This book is written based on Clayton and Hills's past experience in applying statistics in their studies. They can illustrate most difficult concepts by very simple examples and words which are totally differnt than other text and teaching books. For other books, you can learn a lot of various statistical ...

Valuable Insights and Counsel in Combination with Practicality
The last time I checked, Amazon and its online partner Borders offer more than 12,000 different books on the subject of innovation. What we have in this volume is a remarkably thoughtful, ...

This book is a great way to introduce Modern Latin America. The authors provide a wealth of information and present it all in an engaging narrative style. Bioethics & Law: Cases and Materials (American Casebook Series)1 review
Michael H. Shapiro, Roy G. Spece, ...

West Group Publishing, 2002

I don't know if it was the topic or the organization...
This is a confusing topic as is, but I felt like the authors did not do a great job in making distinctions, and also that their topic headings and cases could have been better organized. For those of you who rely on the table of contents and preface paragraphs to the particular legal theories to help you study, this book will give you some difficulty. Good choice in cases though.

U.S. companies are fed up with soaring U.S. health benefit costs; patients, with low-quality, inconvenient care. The root cause of these problems? The wrong kind of competition. The prevailing question is "Who's paying?" not "Who's providing top value?" Consider a ...

Four Restoration Marriage Plays (Oxford World's Classics)
Thomas Otway, Nathaniel Lee, ...

Oxford University Press, USA, 1999

Marriage and its discontents lie at the heart of Restoration comedy. In all four of the great plays gathered here, a married woman confronts her would-be seducer. Each dramatist, however, totally reinterprets the situation. Thomas Otway's The Soldier's Fortune converts adultery into political revenge. Nathaniel Lee's The Princess of Cleves offers a potent and perplexing portrait of a libertine in action at the sixteenth-century French court. ...
