Great Learning and Teaching Tool!
This product is great for anyone wanting to increase their working knowledge of Excel and especially for those who do not have time to go to a class. Being a trainer, I will use this book to teach others in my profession. Being able to download the ready-made files for tutorial reviews and case problems helps the student to progressive try all the techniques taught. I highly recommend it!

A Project Stroll
This has been a great book for learning Project 2007. If you already know Project, it does a great job of providing review material, guiding you away from unnecessary chapters. If you have never really spent time with Project, this book does a very good job of walking you through, Step by Step, aspects and capabilities of Project, as well as exposing you to solid project management practices.

Office 2007 All-in-One Desk Reference For Dummies
I've used word and excel extensively since 1995 in the work place. I got this book for my 42 year old daughter who is just beginning to come around to PC's. I know how much i hate scrolling or searching thru MS's Helps. Well, the book arrived today. I was IMPRESSED. I'm going to order a copy for myself. Thank you Peter Weverka. THIS IS AN IMPRESSIVE BOOK.

Best yet from Cliff Atkinson... I'm now a complete fan!
I recommend "Beyond Bullet Points" in my class all the time. I continually have people coming up to me and asking where my slides came from or how I go about creating them. While I cannot say that I stick to the BBP process strictly, I do use its concepts heavily in my slides. This is why I tell these people ot start with BBP. Well, I just picked up my copy of the 2007 version of BBP last week ...

Good for a first edition
This is a good book for those new to Access and for experienced Access users who need hands-on work to get to know the ribbon. Granted, it has a handful of technical issues - out of the 7 chapters I've covered so far, I've found 5 relatively small items that didn't work the way they were supposed to. Experienced Access users should be able to figure these out with no problem. Inexperienced users ...

Great Overview of the Power of Excel 2007
I'll start by saying I'm biased: I believe Excel 2007 is awesome. So, this book is a great reference for how to get more out of a great tool. I've been to Wayne's seminars, adn his book is a great substitute for his classroom knowledge and experience. THe examples are highly practical, and his data samples on the included CD make learning how to use the functions a lot easier. Love the basketball ...

Outstanding!
In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire Step-By-Step series covering MS Office. I strongly suggest any student, curious George or researcher to pick up a copy and read it. I recently purchased MS 2007 Access, Excel, Power Point and Word set in the Step-By-Step series. The authors are concise in their descriptions without being boring and the information is invaluable.

Excellent Overview
I purchased this book in addition to some of the other more advanced Office books (Office 07 Inside Out & Office 07 Bible) for the full color screen shots to see how the new Office System's Ribbon looked. Don't let the title fool you, although this book is indeed geared toward the newbie, there is some excellent coverage of some advanced topics I have not found in some of the other advance Office ...

Excellent!
This book is perfect for the novice. It guides you to the key components for MS Access without all the "techie" language. It also points out informative tips and clues to improve your database. This is specific for 2007, which really does make a difference since the security features have changed dramatically. There is a website for the examples. It is easy to download. The book states you ...
