Mole Sisters And The Rainy Day (Mole Sisters)3 reviews
Roslyn Schwartz

Topeka Bindery, 2001

Rain, Rain, Go Away
'The Mole SIsters' has the look of a board book, but the head and heart of a (very small) picture book: There are engaging characters, a compelling, dynamic, and the twists and turns of problem-solving. It's got a little more, well, substance to it than similar works, yet it maintains a light touch throughout. The mole sisters' plan for a beautiful day outdoors clashes with the reality of an ...

Mole Sisters and the Piece of Moss (Mole Sisters)2 reviews
Roslyn Schwartz

Annick Press, 2001

Funny, Sweet and Original
The beautiful illustrations are what orginally caught my eye while browsing at a bookshop. But after reading this short and clever book, I was hooked. It is funny and sweet and very original...almost poetic! My five year old god-daughter visited me and fell in love with this book and wanted me to read it to her over and over. It's a wonderful bedtime read and I'd recommend all four books..."The ...

The Complete Adventures of the Mole Sisters (The Mole Sisters)5 reviews

Annick Press, 2004

So very sweet
I decided to purchase this lovely book for my son as a reminder of our wonderful trip to Montreal. The author of this book lives in Montreal. Ever since our trip, my husband have enjoyed reading it to my son (2.5 years old). It is really very simple but to the point and very very sweet. My son loves to copy all the sounds as they read now. I believe that "The Mole Sister" will be a cherished ...

Mole Sisters and the Question (Mole Sisters)1 review

Annick Press, 2002

Perfectly pleasing
I am a big fan of this series. I find them absolutely perfect for pre-schoolers, and my three young children adore them. The illustrations are utterly charming, and the text is simple yet beautifully chosen. This is my current favourite of the eight--but they're all so lovely that I never get tired of reading them or of giving them as gifts.

The Mole Sisters and the Wavy Wheat (The Mole Sisters)1 review

Annick Press, 2000

Perfect for Preschool
It is always delightful to see good new books for children, and I believe that the "Mole Sisters" will become nursery classics. The illustration of the entire series is exquisite--simple, yet vivid and witty. The prose is spare, with each word perfectly chosen, and room for parent-child extended discussion of the action. The characters are charming, likeable, confident, and optimistic without ...

The Mole Sisters and the Busy Bees (The Mole Sisters)1 review

Annick Press, 2000

The Mole Sisters
These are the most enchanting little books. I found one on a trip a few years ago and brought it home to my then 4 year old grandson. Since then we have bought every book, plus the collected stories edition. They are also good for little beginning readers.

Mole Sisters Finger Puppet (The Mole Sisters)2 reviews
Annick Press

Annick Press, 2001

Thought I was buying 2 puppets
It is advertised as Mole Sisters Finger Puppets (plural), so I thought it would come with 2 puppets. Was disappointed to only find one in the box. Will probably return it.
