The only book I needed!
This is the only book I used while studying for the Praxis II: PLT, and I won the ETS Recognition of Excellence Award. It is very thorough and has good review of the materials and numerous practice tests. I highly recommend it.

First off, I hate his show, I loved this book and the movie. Private Parts is hilarious, compelling and truthful. I've never been a huge Howard fan, I saw this book and for some reason started reading. The book is his story, how he got where he is now and where it all started. If you love Howard Stern, you'll love his book, if you arent a fan, its still great reading.

Better than the books ETS puts out!
My biggest complaint is that the author, or editor, screwed up on the stylistics for the APA. Tennessee requires that teacher pass both 0041 and 0043 to be licensed. Considering what was at stake I decided not to scrimp. I paid $25 for the study guide for 0041 and $30 for the guide for 0043. The ETS books were much easier than the actual test. Great Review!
This book is a very concise overall review for the praxis. I was able to review things I haven't seen in years, especially in the math section. I also liked that the answers had explanations which helped me figure out the math problems even when I didn't understand how they had gotten their answer. It is a great book, it has three practice exams and helps let you know what to expect of this test.

I was actually taken back to the time of ancient Egypt! I shivered, got the chills, and laughed out loud at certain parts of the book. It is a REALLY good book. When I borrowed it from the library, I must of renewed it twice to keep it for 2 months! Excellent.

This was a great resource while teaching "Romeo and Juliet" last year to my English 1 students. I was able to explain the more difficult passages to them as we read along in the book. I wish that I had the money to purchase this book for all of my students. I plan to use it again this school year.

I am taking Stat 244 after taking the first class 5 years ago. I needed a review to catch up, but I am finding that this is much more comprehensible than the textbook and the instructor. Nice and straight forward... Makes you wonder why you need to spend $80+ for a used textbook in college when you can learn it more efficiently from this little guy... THANK YOU!!!!!!

TURNED "ROCKET SCIENCE" to Reading Ease
Homer's The Odyessey is a drudgery to read not to mention understand. This book took the pain and bordom of that and shortned it to a 1 hour (45 if your a fast reader) book that keeps all the details (for your reading pleasure) and explains the importance of each section in relations to High School which actually helps a ton.
