A thorough guide to the art of Mr. Morrisseau
This is a fine book which gives the reader a thourough understanding of Norval Morrisseau's art. Mostly color with some black and white photos. The art is exquisite and Mr. Robinson's love of his friend and his art can be felt with each paragraph. If you want a beautiful art book for your coffee table or simply want to learn more about this fascinating artist (Picasso and Chagall both ...

A breathtaking retrospective of Canadas most important Native artist. Norval Morrisseau is perhaps the greatest Native artist ever to have lived. He is a shaman, a storyteller and the inspiration for one of Canada's most vibrant and exciting art movements, the Woodland School of Art. Through his magical paintings he has given new life to ancient Native legends and fables and has helped to restore the dignity of his once-proud people. This new ...

Copper Thunderbird is a play on canvas based on the life of Norval Morriseau. Appearing simultaneously in this multi-layered drama as a small boy, a young warrior, and an old ...

[is bad] Big Time
This book is one huge waste of 15 dollars. Calvin has not even been to residential school and he writes as if he has been through the system himself. I think all information Cal has placed in this book is for the most part fictional. I recommend he don't quit his day job. Or catagorize his fictional depictions of his life where it belongs, in the fiction section of the library.
