Competes with Mettler
This is a new edition. Compared to Mettler this probably has a greater range of coverage. Both books are very good. Supplement with PET books like PET/CT: A Case-based Approach by Conti (this may be too expensive for a resident) or PET and PET/CT: A Clinical Guide by Lin (less expensive).

As mentioned in the prior review, the pictures are small and the findings can be difficult to see. I also agree that there is too much quality control in the first section -- I wish I had the time I spent on that back. The book seems to emphasize discussion over case recognition, which wasn't what I was hoping for. Then again, a fair amount of mammography is how you manage a finding, so maybe ...

This book is a lifesaver. I work in Pre-Admission testing, and need to review lab tests all the time. The book is clear and easy to use. I like the lists of what high and low values can indicate.

This is definitely the best one out of the series. The pictures are excellent, often including labels to help the beginning resident get a grasp of viewing U/S anatomy. Each case is succintly presented with an excellent disccusion. Perfect for Med School
I purchased this book after looking at a friend's copy. Its great for figuring out what test results actually mean (especially for CBCs and BMPs). It breaks down every test, what its used for, when to order it - and what it means when high or low. Useful for getting hold of those difficult to find tips and bits of info not so readily found in reference texts. This book has a friendly style, is quick to use, and as a case review book, gives you a good taste of the spectrum of ENT radiology. It also offers limited but useful references to supplement the short text given for each case.

It worked for me.
I went through the case review series for the boards and thought they were great. Some were better than others, it's true - but this was one of the good ones. All I can surely say is that this was the only dedicated GU book I used (with a quick review of the Requisites)and did well on the GU section. Please post feedback on this review.

excellent Q.M. summary
I am an instructor for a Radiography program and am currently studyings to take my ARRT Q.M. examination. This is the only book I recommend for quallity management. The others tend to be confusing and vague. Well worth it.
