A must have for house rabbit owners
If you are only going to purchase one book about house rabbits this should be the one. I have purchased several and taken several out of the library and this is still the first one I pick up when I need information.

Lilly's brand new purse
This story is about a girl who got a brand new purse. She really wants to show it to her classmates, but her teacher Mr. Slinger wants her to wait at an appropriate time. I love this book because Lilly is very precious and for giving. I think this book is good for k-2nd grade. So they can have reading. I think this is a wonderful story. Lilly loves her purse. If You Give a Mouse a Cookie125 reviews
Laura Joffe Numeroff

Scholastic, 1985

If You Give a Child This Book...You Will Have Hours of Fun Together
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie is a modern classic, beloved by children everywhere. It is also a book that teaches about sequential action and consequence. For example, if you give a mouse a cookie, he is going to ask for a glass of milk. If you give him a glass of milk, he will probably ask for straw. As the book continues, the drink leads to a napkin, which leads to a mirror (to check for a ...

GARY CHALK BRIAN JACQUES

AVON BOOKS, 1991

EXCELLENT! 10/10!
This is either the best or the second best Redwall book. It's the direct sequel to the Original Redwall, so there will be a lot of familier characters. Complete with 3 huge battles, a cruel monster that lurks in the dark, and an evil slaver named Slager, this book is ultimate, and I highly reccomend it!

Martin the Warrior (Redwall, Book 6)261 reviews
Brian Jacques

Ace, 1995

If you like talking animals in your books, don't miss the Redwall series.
I am reading all of the Redwall books in the chronological order, not the order he wrote them in. Martin the Warrior is therefore 2nd. I'd already read Redwall and Mossflower and they remain among my favorites of this series, but Martin the Warrior is just as good. His characters are well-developed, just keep in mind that the intended audience is children. I love the way he creates different ...

The Wainscott Weasel23 reviews
Tor Seidler

HarperCollins, 1996

Couldn't put it down
This was a wonderful story which takes place at a location Mr. Seidler used to visit and that means a lot to him. The weasel society enjoys life and dancing, and even has its own celebrity, Bagley Brown. Bagley has a secret crush that would raise eyebrows if it were discovered, and he questions a pretty weasel's crush on him because he's never done anything great enough to earn the honor of ...

Oh NO! It's a GRUFFALO!
My cousin, a preschool teacher, bought this book for my 19 month old son. I thought it was probaby too old for him, and too scary for my 3 year old. How wrong I was! My son loves this book so much that he makes us read it to him at least half a dozen times daily! He walks around the house saying "Oh no! Guwwawoh!" My 3 year old loves it just as much, and the 2 of them jump out on one another ...

Teacher's Review
This is a review/evaluation of the book as part of an in depth study on children's picture books. I am a third grade teacher and I use this book in my classroom because no kid is ever too old to read a great story like this. I truly think it is a classic! Evaluation: In addition to the wonderful illustrations, this Caldecott Honor book is also a heart warming story that is very appropriate ...

"Official" reviews all wrong
I was aghast to read the reviews Amazon quotes on this book! It is fantastic! My children have loved it for years. It is so good that my 9-year-old will still sit and listen to it. I also take it to school on Read Across America Day and classes aged kindergarten through third have been entranced by it. It is a very good addition to every family library!

The seven stories included are: The Wishing Well, Clouds, Very Tall Mouse and Very Short Mouse, The Mouse and the Winds, The Journey, The Old Mouse, and The Bath. Out of print-what a shame!
Why? Why? Why is this book out of print? When I was in college one of my teachers read this book to us as part of a class on children's literature. I loved this book the first time I heard it and twenty years later I have one very worn copy that someone drew on-I found it in a box at a used book sale. I wish I could have a beautiful new copy to share with the children in my class. Every time I ...

Mouse Paint33 reviews
Ellen Stoll Walsh

Voyager Books, 1995

Color mixing for the little ones
Ellen Stoll Walsh teaches color mixing in this entertaining story about 3 white mice who find three jars of primary colored paint. I read this book to my kinders before they did their own color mixing art project and they just loved it! The pictures, created with cut-paper, are just darling. This is worth having in any classroom or home library.
