Law of Success 18 reviews Napoleon Hill
Kampmann & Co, 1992
The all-inclusive, original success book! Napoleon Hill was commissioned by the richest man in the world at the time, Andrew Carnegie, to create an economic philosophy. Carnegie said philosophers had concentrated on morals, and there were plenty of moral philosophies, but not one economic philosophy, and it was a shame. Every person who had risen from poverty to wealth had to do it on his own, learning from the brutal (and slow) ...

Think and Grow Rich 29 reviews Dennis Kimbro, Napoleon Hill
Fawcett, 1992
Think and Grow Rich a BLACK Choice This is one of the greatest books I have ever read. Next to the Bible it has had a positive effect on me and I share its positive message with everyone.
I speak to groups and this is on my suggested reading list.
A must read.
I am not one who writes or talks much but I have to share with those who I meet.

The Last Great Dance on Earth 26 reviews
Scribner, 2004
Well Done Sandra Gulland--An Outstanding Conclusion!!! I can't express how much I loved this wonderful novel. The most accurate adjective I can think of would be 'interesting'. This book was soooo interesting. Gulland's attention to detail is absolutely meticulous. She used over 400 sources in the writing of this trilogy. I learned so much--not only about Napoleon and Josephine, but also of other historical figures of that time. I also found ...

Napoleon Hill in his own voice 20 reviews
bnpublishing.com, 2006
Listen Carefully and it is Worthwhile I have the print version of Think and Grow Rich as well as this set of CD's and they nicely complement one another. While much of what is in the CD can be gleaned from the book, it is good to listen to Mr. Hill's lectures to reinforce the material.
That said, I must say I made the mistake of listening to the CD's in the car while commuting to and from work. The angst of driving in Southern ...

Scipio Africanus: Greater Than Napoleon 42 reviews B. H. Liddell-Hart
Greenhill Pr, 1993
Innovative Commander. First, the authors initial premise that the victor does not always get the credit is sadly true. Which dispells many myths revisionists have been spewing for decades. Aspiring leaders could learn much from this and the authors other books. Here he has created a great story outlining the exploits of one of the worlds most underated generals. Dare I say hardly known?
Chapters 10 and 11 is where ...

Desiree 63 reviews Annemarie Selinko
William Morrow & Co, 1953
A completely charming Desiree's life story, from spurned fiance of Napoleon to Queen of two countries I'm a certified anglophile, when it comes to history. This is probably because I am one-half Angelo Celtic and so the history I read about when I read about England, Scotland and Ireland, is in some sense my own. It is a basic human urge to understand where we come from after all. Anyway, this is my way of saying I don't "get" France. I can't speak French (and so in books when there's some French ...

This book changed my life!!! My name is Mark Tomblum. I am in the 7th. grade. I live in a small town 5 miles outside of Dallas, Tx. I never really liked reading books and writing to much. I do like school but not reading or really writing. I go to an after school program and one of my teachers had this Dream Real book. She read a few pages to me. I wanted to read the book myself. My teacher let me take the book home. After ...

Napoleon Hill's Keys to Success 23 reviews Napoleon Hill
Piatkus Books, 1995
Truly inspirational. Builds upon "Think and Grow Rich". There are thousands of self-help books out in the market and hundreds of self proclaimed "gurus" who have made a living by copying the wisdom in Napoleon Hill's books. As I went through some of those books I realized that there was not much in them that Hill had not already written about. I recommend quality over quantity. Instead of reading through many books, I recommend that you study the ...

The Billy Ruffian : The Bellerophon and the Downfall of Napoleon 10 reviews David Cordingly, 2003
Unusual biography Instead of the usual biography of a famous captain or battle, Mr. Cordingly treats us to the life of a famous ship of the line - Bellerophon.
From a protracted birth in the slips of the Medway, through the highs and lows of the American and European wars, to an ignominious return to her birthplace, we read the history of the Georgian Navy as written by her commanders, officers and crew,
The ...

The New Think & Grow Rich: An Unauthorized Re-Presentation of Napoleon Hill's Success Classic 9 reviews Ted Ciuba, Napoleon Hill
Morgan James Publishing, 2006
New Updated Unauthorized Edition of the Classic Book In 1937, right in the middle of the depression, Napoleon Hill wrote the original book 'Think and Grow Rich.' It was a best seller and it set Hill off to writing a whole series of books on the same general subject. The original book, and all the others are still in print.
However, in the seventy yesrs since the publication of the original book: the language has become somewhat old fashioned, ...

The Success System That Never Fails 17 reviews W. Clement Stone, Charlie T. Jones
Napoleon Hill Foundation, 2004
Go to the core to get the truth! When I was about 14 years old my dad a self made successful real estate broker in Inkster Michigan insisted I read this book. This book has been etched in my mind ever since. 43 years later, I've found an original copy of this book to give to my dad as a gift. That's how important this book is. If you do a you tube video search you can hear Stone in his own words give you the first 8 segments ...

Napoleon's Marshals 9 reviews RiF Delderfield
Cooper Square Press, 2002
Excellent Read I flew through this book. The narrative style of writing lent itself to a quick and enjoyable read. I came away with a better overall picture of those who were surrounding Napoleon.
Although the subject is broad in the sense that the author tackles so many people. He none-the-less does an excelent job of rounding out a solid picture of Naploeon's marshals, their personalites, their ...

More amazing secrets from Napolean Hill Although Think & Grow Rich is the most famous book that Hill wrote, Grow Rich With Peace Of Mind is surely the most under-rated of all of Hill's books. Grow Rich with Peace of Mind offers information not in Hill's other books and includes discoveries made by Hill after he wrote Think and Grow Rich. Grow Rich with Peace of Mind offers foolproof techniques for achieving power to earn a high income ...

Life Changing Very powerful and insightful view into the power of love to turn arround a life bent on anger, hate and violence. I read the book 25 years ago and recently gave it to my 22 year old daughter to read and she has since passed it on to her friends to read. ...

Succeed and Grow Rich Through Persuasion 12 reviews Napoleon Hill, E Harold Keown
Fawcett, 1981
Great book on mastering persuasion! I have to admit that I am a confirmed fan of Napolean Hill. I love Think & Grow Rich, have bought many copies and recently added the new and revised hardback to my library.
Succeed and Grow Rich Through Persuasion was one of those books that was collecting dust on my library shelf. I had browsed t his book a couple of times, but never read it completely. In fact, I have been doing that with ...
