One of Each 15 reviews Mary Ann Hoberman
Topeka Bindery, 2001
My son is obsessed I got this book from the library for my 2 year old and he absolutely adores it. He asks me to read it all of the time! I have to force him to pick a different book to read (for my sanity). The illustrations are very colorful and just grab his attention. There is a nice rhyme to the story that makes is pleasant to read aloud. This is one that we will definitely be purchasing!

Barbour Publishing, Incorporated, 1997
No Flair Or Entertainment......Just Pure Gospel Classic Tozer on tape! Play this in the car and go for a long drive....worth several listens and more. Boy, could this man hammer a point home and you know, he needed too. When finishing a book or tape of his, one is greatly reminded of the urgent message of the Gospel.....and the fact that we really do need to "count your days like blades of grass". This was recorded in 1954, but like the ...

Molder of Dreams: We Each Shape the Hearts and Lives of Our Loved Ones -- For Better or Worse 3 reviews Guy Rice Doud
Focus on the Family Publishing, 1995
Wonderful Motivator for present teachers and teachers-to-be I first saw Guy Doud's video Molder of Dreams a few years ago, and I was in awe of the passion he has for his career and for the students he reaches. I read this book after seeing the video and was gripped even more intensely by reading a more detailed account of some of the experiences his video touches on. Doud refers to himself as a 'feeler' in his field therefore trying to reach beyond ...

Talk Sexy to the One You Love (and Drive Each Other Wild in Bed) 9 reviews Barbara Keesling
audible.com
Learning to talk sexy without talking smack My wife and I have been reading this book together, and it is a real "ear-opener." It is remarkable how uncomfortable most men and women are with truly sensuous talk in today's world where sex seems to be ubiquitous. However, just as there is a difference between f***ing and making love, there is a difference between the raunchy, cheap smut talk and truly erotic, intimate talk between lovers. ...

The Interpreter's One Volume Commentary on the Bible: Introduction and Commentary for Each Book of the Bible ... 3 reviews George A. Buttrick
Abingdon Press, 1971
The best I've come across yet. Excellent reference companion for anyone studying the bible. A good balance of historical and theological commentary from a more academic point of view. Although it is rather old at this point, it still excedes most commentaries published today in terms of providing accurate and informative information, leaving the reader examine the facts and make their own decisions.

Loving Each One Best: A Caring and Practical Approach to Raising Siblings 9 reviews Nancy Samalin
Bantam, 1996
Best Book Out There on Siblings How lucky I was to learn of this book when my second child was a newborn. I've read many good books and articles about sibling relationships, but this is far and away the most practical and insightful guide I have found. Using examples from real families, Ms. Samalin illustrates typical conflicts that arise between siblings and parents. What really sets this book apart from others is that ...

Each One Believing: On Stage, Off Stage, and Backstage 8 reviews Paul McCartney
Chronicle Books, 2004
Rock Show! This book is a cornucopia of photographs and text. Paul McCartney, a veteran in the entertainment business and a class act to boot is clearly happy with himself and quite comfortable on stage, doing his job. No doubt fans as well as those with a more "moderate" interest in Paul McCartney as well as the Beatles will be delighted with this book. I love it!

The World's Shortest Stories: Murder, Love, Horror, Suspense, All This and Much More in the Most Amazing ... 27 reviews
Running Press Book Publishers, 1998
Interesting My teacher used "The World's Shortest Stories" for a lesson one day. I've never paid so much attention during one class period! I thought it was incredible the way these tiny, 55-word stories could be so little, yet have so much meaning behind them. Each story was thought provoking. Dispite their size, they all have some kind of "twist" to it. I was inspired and immediately wanted to write my own ...
