Onslaught (Magic: The Gathering: Onslaught Cycle)14 reviews

Great startoff to the onslaught series
Great book worthy of a 5 star review. Its great how the chacters develop & how the book starts the story off. Its too bad how the author has akroma destroy almost everything Ixidor created when he created her in the first place though. Ixidor was one of the best chacters in the book in my opinion however that dosn't change the fact that this was a great startoff to the onslaught series & most ...

Legions (Magic: The Gathering: Onslaught Cycle, Book 2)13 reviews
J. Robert King

Wizards of the Coast, 2003

A very interesting book
At first, when my friend told me about this, I expected a boring book about stragne creatures that fight. BIIIGG DEAAAL I thought. But I was in for a shock. This book is interesting, not just fighting and strength, but about strategy aswell. Deserves 10 out of 5, but i can only give it a 5.

X-Men: The Complete Onslaught Epic, Book 16 reviews
Jeph Loeb, Mark Waid, ...

Marvel Comics, 2007

reminding us why comics suck so bad today.
Great read. This represents why comics were more creative and fun just a few years ago in the 90s in comparison to the overwhelmingly maudlin nostalgia fad that is currently dragging comic down to the creative depths (especially over at D(ullC comics, home of the mid life crisis of infinite reruns. Onslaught was fun, fresh and compelling. Well worth the read.

X-Men: The Complete Onslaught Epic, Book 22 reviews
Warren Ellis, Tom DeFalco, ...

Marvel Comics, 2008

About time
I'm glad that marvel has finally released this whole series in graphic novel form. It's about time that they did because it is such a pivitol time in the x-men history. It is one of the pieces that connects most of the more recent events in the marvel timeline. Highly recommended for any x-fan.

Onslaught Reborn HC2 reviews
Jeph Loeb, Rob Liefeld

Marvel Comics, 2008

Decent, but Nothing More
Onslaught Reborn brings readers back to the "pocket universe" created by Franklin Richards, son of the Fantastic Four's Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman, to save some of the heroes from dying in the wake of Onslaught's destruction. For those that dont know, Onslaught was basically a deus ex machina used to reboot the Marvel Universe and trim away a lot of the fat so to speak that was created in ...

You all know about Onslaught Reborn, now see how it first got underway! Professor X hasn't been himself lately - moody, inscrutable, but the psionic armor and army of Sentinels are the real tip-offs! It'll take every super hero New York has to face the Onslaught - including not only the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and the Avengers, but forgotten stars of the nineties like Green Goblin Phil Urich, Nate Grey the X-Man, and Ben Reilly, a.k.a. ...

Dark Tide I: Onslaught (Star Wars: The New Jedi Order, Book 2)182 reviews
Michael A. Stackpole

Del Rey, 2000

Overall a pleaser for those who love the Star Wars characters
I m a very big fan of the NJO, and I thought this book was one of the best. It dived into a whole new world, still being only the 2nd book in the series. You also get to know many character on a more personal level. Characters such as Mara Jade, Anakin, and Jacen. And if you are like me, and find intense battle scenes too complicated to follow, this bok makes it a little simpler, but still ...

The Jewish Onslaught: Dispatches from the Wellesley Battlefront11 reviews
Tony Martin

Majority Press, 1993

Excellent book, a must read.
From experience and background, I can testify that this book is accurate. You see I was jewish until I left judaism 5 years ago. I can testify to the attitude and behavior of my community. When are we going to wake up and join humanity and give up our outdated hateful racist idiology. I just have to pray! DR. Martin, you are a Hero.

Mr Sinister is Evil, I admit, BUT here he is at least shown more 3-D. Great Work Marvel!

Onslaught Volume 5: The Front Line (X-Men) (Fantastic Four) (Avengers) (Marvel Comics)9 reviews
John Ostrander, Howard Mackie

Marvel Entertainment Group, 1997

Keepin' Up the pace...
I've just a few things to say of this book. Superb. It keeps the pace, but, nevertheless, it asounds me how much suspense you can go through with all that going on. 'WillNate & franklin get out?' or, simply 'How's it all going to end out?' or even 'Won't hate for mutants rise again?'. I consider this to be the best chapter of the 6, although, all are worth reading. In closing, I have to say, ...

Onslaught Volume 4: Eye of the Storm (X-Men) (Fantastic Four) (Avengers) (Marvel Comics)1 review
Peter David, Jeph Loeb

Marvel Entertainment Group, 1997

It's Readable, but not much else
Well Onslaught will perhaps forever be Marvel's most controversial storyline. I only gave this chapter three stars because it focuses on the Hulk's side of the war with the mad mutant. Peter David tried as much as he could, to make the Hulk chapter of the Onslaught war, interesting and he mostly succeeds. The Hulk takes part in the battle, but he somewhat regards this whole affair as a ...

A Strong and Sudden Onslaught: The Cavalry Action at Hanover, Pennsylvania
John T. Krepps

Colecraft Industries, 2008

While the battle of Gettysburg remains the centerpiece of this June/July, 1863 campaign, there is an increasing interest in less-studied peripheral events that were an integral part of the operation. One such event occurred the day before the battle of Gettysburg began ? the cavalry action on June 30, 1863 at and around Hanover, Pa. This important event is worth examining more closely since it played a key role in the campaign?s outcome: ...

Onslaught (Demontech, Book 1)26 reviews
David Sherman

Del Rey, 2002

Demontech - the shortened series
When I ran across this book, the premise behind this novel was intriguing - demon 'magic' and Marines? An odd combination so I bought it and read it in a day. I returned to the book store and purchased the other two novels in the series thereafter. An entertaining story line by an author who has obviously been where the bullets fly. I recommend this to any military Sci-Fi fan.

In this epic of unsurpassed action and imagination, Michael Stackpole helps to launch an exciting new era in Star WarsŪ history.
