100 (YES, 100!) Job Search Tips
Janet Ritt Chocky

AuthorHouse, 2005

100 Job Search Tips (Yes, 100!) contains valuable, practical, and functional guidelines for landing the job you want. The truth is, we often need help. In writing this book, I hope to assist others with their job search strategies. Locating a job is a process. The harsh reality is, this is not a fun process! I hope to provide some no-nonsense approaches to the job search. This is not a formal book, as formality is not my style. However, a job ...

The $10 Trillion Opportunity: Designing Successful Exit Strategies for Middle Market Business Owners, Second ...4 reviews
Richard, E Jackim, Peter, G Christman

The Exit Planning Institute, 2006

Once Again an Excellent Resource!
Every year hundreds of business books are published, however very often they are superficial-containing a great deal of hype but little substance. In many cases the author lacks expertise and the end result is a book filled with clichés, generalizations, and oversimplifications. It is a given that the principle elements of a good business book are how worthy is the subject, who is authoring ...

Richard, E Jackim, Perry Phillips

Exit Planning Institute, 2007

The Ten Trillion Dollar Opportunity is the most comprehensive and integrated work available on the subject of exit planning. It takes a practical "how-to" approach to help business advisors integrate exit planning into their practices. Using illustrative examples and case studies, the authors have distilled over 50 years of combined experience into a wise, down-to-earth, and eminently practical guide on exit planning. As a result, this book is ...

The $10 Trillion Opportunity2 reviews
Richard E. Jackim, Peter G. Christman

Dog Ear Publishing, 2005

The $10 Trillion Opportunity is a logically structured book with a no- nonsense approach to exploring an important topic.
Today, estate and financial planning are very much in the public eye, due in part to our growing baby boomer generation. However, surprisingly, many of us are unaware of the term exit planning, and I don't mean planning for your funeral! Briefly, as pointed out in The $10 Trillion Opportunity, an exit plan is a wide-ranging road map to profitably and successfully exit a privately held ...

Todd Bermont

10 Step Corporation, 2004

Life changing and thought provoking
Wow, when I picked up this book, I had no idea what I was about to discover about myself. For years I have wasted my time with books like Parachute and Pathfinder trying to figure out what I really wanted to do for a living. This book was the first one that I really felt was talking to me. The entire book is like you are sitting at a desk with a career coach. I learned things about myself that I ...

Todd Bermont

10 Step Corporation, 2002

Well Worth The Money!
My first reaction when I received this book was..."I paid [money] for this?" At first, I was thinking I got ripped off. However, since I spent the money, I figured I might as well go through the workshop and see what happens. At first, I was apprehensive about buying it because, I tried the "Parachute" and "Dummy" books, and neither of them gave me the answers and guidance that I needed or ...

Todd Bermont

Career Press, 2004

Very organized, step-by-step approach to job hunting
I loved the book. I was always afraid b/c I knew I wasn't prepared and had no idea how to prepare. I was very good at collecting information on what to do, but not so good on doing it. It was very overwhelming. 10 Insider Secrets to a Winning Job Search helped me not only be better prepared and knowledgeable, but it was done in a very organized, step-by-step manner, which I needed, to keep me ...

Shelly Field

GREAT BOOK IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR ANSWERS ABOUT CAREERS
I buy all of Field's career books. This one in particular is good if you're looking for a specific career to get into. It tells you everything you need to know and gives you options you probably wouldn't have thought of. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, I too, went to Field's web site as listed in the book. I had a couple of questions about getting the job I wanted. I too, ...

100 Best Careers in Entertainment1 review
Shelly Field

Arco Pub, 1995

I was expecting more...
I ordered this book thinking it would have a lot of new information. I was a little let down when I looked through it, though. I was familiar with almost all of the careers and much of the information is generalized. This book is okay to check out at your local library, but not to buy.
