great memories
I originally purchased this book when my children were young, and it was nearly worn out from the numerous readings. My children loved the "bumps" and I always used the "tear water tea" to remind my kids when everything seemed to be going wrong in their world. It is a great little book for children...and some of us adults as well.

Owl rocks!
My son, now 36, loved Owl in his day. My neighbor, 5, who first told me Owl was stupid because of the story "Bumps" now says, "This book rocks!" Pretty good longevity for a little, unpretentious book for kids. The stories are short enough to make it a perfect way to inject some reading at bedtime and engaging enough for reading anytime.

this book has some really great recipes but it has only four stars because it has some really hard to find ingredients. All in all it cover everything from soap making to eye gel and has some cute ideas for kids, like all natural play dough.
