This was a great book! I love the Oz books, and this was just as good, if not better than some. It is about a girl named Trot and her wise old friend Cap'n Bill, a sailor who lost his leg and has lived with Trot's family ever since. It reminded me a great deal of the L. Frank Baum series that I enjoyed so much as a child, and still do. This review is not concerned with the three excellent Oz books contained within. They are a lot of fun, but definitely from another time. Unfortunately, this Kindle version is poorly done. There are enough typos scattered throughout to be noticeable (was this proofread at all?) and the Tables of Contents are not hyper-linked. This makes it very difficult to jump to a chapter in a book.
