This is an excellent source for a basic understanding of Anatomy and Physiology. Just note that any such class requires a lot of memorization. There are a lot of terms, and names for things to remember. This book makes it more interesting my adding stories and relating the information to real life or job situations. Simple and concise
I've read both Nunn and West's respiratory physiology. Although Nunn's has got more detail, I think West's book is written better. Another good supplement for reading respiratory physiology is in Miller's anaesthesia.

Very Complete Text
I have used this text as an undergrad and I have taught from this text as a professor. It is the most complete and logically organized text I have found as a professor. In general, this is a tough subject but the illustrations and the McGraw Hill website make this text the most student friendly. I highly recommend it.

Happy with the seller. The price was better than my school bookstore. It was in good condition. I would like to know all the details of the book and not just two words description. It is helpful. If books have no pages like l have seen some sellers indicate they should not sell that book. It would be useless to get to that page and it's out then what?

.I picked up the 2nd edition at a library sale for $1! This editions starts from the elementary basics of chemistry and builds , describing H20 critical integration into the human system etc.It would seem from a novices point of view that you are getting the root basic of human physiology ,which is what you need if we are going to look for the week links that bring on disease.Fabulous diagrams ...
