Phenomenal Biography, modestly written
I purchased this book two months before I had the courage to read it. I feared it would be too upsetting and entirely depressing to engage myself in.
The book begins with a wonderful history of Paul's life. His vivid descriptions of The Land of A Thousand Hills, the banana beer, the family, his path to hotel management. It is an interesting story about a young man growing up in Africa.

Warning: I would NOT read this book as a prequel but as a an afterward/epilogue in story form that only discusses the beginning! (Reason: there is too much information that could be spoilers for the rest of the books.) Personally I read this after I read books 1-11, while waiting for the final book, 12, to be released. This was the first Stephenie Plum novel I ever read.
I actually got it from the dollar store. I was a little iffy when I heard of the series, awhile back, but when I caught one in the dollar store I thought, what the hell.
