As a student interested in museum studies, I found this book very useful. The material was organized in an easily accessible manner. It assisted me greatly in finding information about the field in general and specific programs. Overall, it is an excellent resource.

pretty good registration guide
this book contains sections written by a number of experienced, top registrars at museums across the nation. they know their business, and although the methods will doubtless vary from museum to museum, it gives a good overview (although a few of the authors do go into painful detail) of the registration process. for the most part it's a great book on a hard-to-find subject.
