The only book needed for pscyh clerkship
I bought this book at the beginning of my psych clerkship and would go through a chapter each week to study. I felt like the questions were slightly hard, but figured that since I was able to get a passing score with each chapter section, then I would do well on the shelf exam. I ended up doing extremely well on the shelf exam using only this resource.

What I liked best about this book was the sample SOAP/Admit/Orders that they give, plus all the crazy acronyms that they expect you to know. For sure this is the best BASIC Histology book ever...if you do want some deep treatment about the topic, go search another book...but for what it intends to discuss (the basic concepts of human body tissues science), the book is explendid. Please, DO NOT compare this book with a non basic book.

Terrible Review for ABFM
Based on the publisher, writers credentials, number of pages, "fast facts" review style, etc. I thought this would be great for ABFM prep. Unfortunately, the text is FILLED with typos and has a substantial amount of frankly incorrect medical information! When I took the shelf board, my jaw dropped - it was as if the board came straight out of this book. Concise, but loaded with information. Lacks only info on immunizations and milestones, but these can be found anywhere.
