I have found that the Shepherd's Notes are both scholarly and practical for everday use. They have been a great help in preparing for sermons when used alongside my Bible. The margin notes give you an extra amount of information beyond what the paragraph reads. This is worth the $5.95 I paid for the commentary and I am looking forward to building a library of these.

Mr. Trent's message isn't new, but I like the idea of basically 'baby steps' to get some change going. He makes reference to some other leadership type books that I want to now read, like Guilani's "Leadership".
