Full Moon Soup 13 reviews
Boxer Books Limited, 2007
My 6-year-old loves this book I gave this book to my 6-year-old on the second leg of a loooong plane trip. It kept her absorbed for almost an hour. She isn't reading yet, so it was a relief to give her something she could look at independently (especially as she was seated across the aisle). Since that trip, the book gets moved from the car to the church bag, and it continues to hold her interest several months later.

No More Diapers for Ducky! 9 reviews Bernette Ford
Boxer Books, 2006
Delightful! My 3 year old and 5 year old love this book and so do I!
The pictures are wonderful, and the dialogue between the characters is very cute. This is a wonderful tool to get your little one thinking about the transition from diapers to the potty (and may even provide enough inspiration for him/her to try immediately)!

Boxer Books, 2007
Beautifully illustrated & beautifully written I bought this book for my nephew who is 18 months old. He absolutely LOVES it. The manner the author/illustrator uses is VERY good. Upon the first reading, my nephew thought the chicks were actually fuzzy. The sounds that make up the text are mesmerizing. The story features bees, chicks, and cats. Children who are learning animals will be captivated. Many times when playing, we'll hear ...

Exciting book for toddlers My little niece loves it when characters in books fall down and then get up again. So this book is very exciting because the children go for an exciting ride, bounce in some straw, get up, and start again. The rhymes are very fun to read out loud!

Tip Tip Dig Dig 5 reviews Emma Garcia
Boxer Books, 2007
Love it! My 15-month old son adores this book. He calls it by name "tip tip diiiiig," and can recite all of the actions in the book from pushing to mixing. The perfect book for boys obsessed with construction equipment. The illustrations are bright and vibrant, and the text easy to follow for little guys.

Overcoming Obsticles My daughter loves this book. She is only 2 years of age and doesn't understand just yet what it is like to be unlike others and not excepted for who she is. she does understand that the characters in this book work out their differences because the one who is not liked has a special talent and is willing to share it with his taunters. I feel this book prepares parents as well as children for the ...

A Big Dog: An Opposites Book (Boxer Concept Series) 1 review
Boxer Books, 2008
Simple but fun I have been reading to my son since he was four months old. Just before he turned six months old, I bought him this book. He's now seven months old and it's his favorite book and has been since the first time I opened it. Whenever he sees it, he starts kicking and giggling. The pictures are simple and the words are simple but he loves it. He stares at the contrast between the pictures and the ...

Grumpy Cat 2 reviews Britta Teckentrup
Boxer Books, 2008
A very poignant, touching and true story This book is superb, completely true to the actual life of a wandering male stray tomcat who once lived with me, several other cats and a kitten.
Had I not seen it first hand, this would be little more than a clever story, well written, interesting, and perhaps meant as a lesson to small children to be nice. Instead, in real life 'Fluffy' was a dominant male who ruled the other cats with ...

In his first picture book, author and artist Algy Craig Hall has crafted a gentle, charming, and witty story that shows exactly ...

I Love My Daddy 16 reviews
Boxer Books Limited, 2007
Wanna know what a "daddy" does? Then, check out this captivating look at the bond between father and son told in the simplistic dialog of a little bear. With poignant pictures by author/illustrator Sebastien Braun (perfect last name), little "readers" can relate to the love that is shared by the family duo.
This is a perfect "primer" for both the child and the dad that needs to know his role.

Boys Are Best! 3 reviews Manuela Olten
Boxer Books, 2007
Richie's Picks: BOYS ARE BEST! This brilliant picture book by a German author/illustrator was first published in Zurich in 2004 and was finally released here (by a British publisher) in 2007. The publishing history has caused its failure to attract the attention it deserves. I've very successfully utilized it as a read-aloud with third and fourth graders. It is a laugh-out-loud turnabout tale.
