I enjoyed Darkfall, I'll say that. It was a fast-paced, interesting story, with lots of scarry and suspense. It isn't one of Koontz's most well-written novels. It's interesting to see how he's developed as a writer over the years. The difference between Darkfall and a novel like Odd Thomas or The Taking is drastic and noticeable. And that's okay.
