Loved by Grandson
I purchased this book for my 6 year old Grandson and he immediately loved it as did all the children at his party. In fact even the adults had a good time looking for hidden objects. Good for all ages.

Off To Kindergarten
Tony Johnston

Cartwheel Books, 2007

"I'm off to kindergarten now. I'd better take my bear. He likes to sit beside me so I'll take a little chair. . . ." So begins the long list of things Bill absolutely needs for his first day of school. Along with his pillow and some cookies, he also plans on bringing his sandbox, some digging moles, and a moving truck! A touching story of first-day jitters and hopes, Tony Johnston's rhyming text is paired with Melissa Sweet's ...

There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Fly Guy7 reviews
Tedd Arnold

Cartwheel Books, 2007

Great early reader!
It's tough to find books at my son's reading level that excite him. The fly guy books always fit the bill. With silly boy humor and a well laid out text for early readers I recomend these books to all of his friend's parents.

Snowflake (Stablemates)2 reviews
Kristin Earhart

Cartwheel Books, 2006

Uplifting story for horse and animal lovers!
My six year old daughter and I loved this story. Snowflake is a rescued horse who has had a hard life. The girls work to earn money to buy Snowflake a blanket for the winter. The story is uplifting without being sad. It teaches both kindness and hard work. We enjoyed all four of the Stablemates books, but Snowflake was our favorite - highly recommended.

Shoo, Fly Guy! (Fly Guy)9 reviews
Tedd Arnold

Cartwheel Books, 2006

Accidental discovery.
Shoo Fly guy is a cute little story about a boy and his pet fly. The boy goes on a picnic and the fly tries to find him. My daughter liked following his fly patterns and the stuff he visits. I was a little concerned about one incident where he goes by a road kill frog. But she is fascinated by death for some reason(we lost a cat) so it didn't bother her. On thing she did like is where ...

The Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar Fractions Book10 reviews
Jerry Pallotta

Cartwheel Books, 1999

This is a great book!
The Hershey's Milk Chocolate Fractions Book will help teach children the concept of dividing a whole into fractions in a fun and wonderful way. It begins with a huge Hershey bar being unwrapped to show it's 12 blocks. Each page takes away a fraction of the bar. The remaining fraction is colorfully illustrated by a crew of little people who cart their painting tools from page to page, leaving ...

Three Little Fish And The Big Bad Shark4 reviews
Will Grace, Ken Geist

Cartwheel Books, 2007

A New Twist on an Old "Tail"
I can't remember where my son got this book or for how long we have had, but I do know how much we enjoy it. It's a short story so it's usually one of two bedtime books. This book took the legendary story of The Three Little Pigs and gave it a face lift. Instead of the Three Little Pigs, we have Three Little Fish. Instead of the Big Bad Wolf, we have The Big Bad Shark. It's the same basic ...

Cartwheel Books, 2006

superb early reader
"Super Fly Guy" is a great early reader book. It's fun and silly while still remaining a reasonable read for about a level 3 reader. I also love "Hi Fly Guy" and "Shoo Fly Guy". I only wish I could find more books of this quality at this level.
