The Axis force did have a great design kind of aircraft and deadly!
I am a big fan of airplane especially this one. Although British aircraft of world war II is the most favourite in design but that also the same with this serie of Axis aircrafts. Good references for my cartoon comic art and yet it's affordable.

Forget Harlequin .... read this!
I remember when I was given this book as a surprise in college because I was the one deemed a hopeless romantic. Anyways, I was 17 and it was my first year away from home in Toronto spending the summer working three jobs for tuition. I must say that this was a great read in between shifts because it helped my mind drift away from worries of money and school at the time. And after all these years ...

Can You Tell Me About Tomorrow?
Several years ago I bought this book for my daughter. It is a very insightful book. Nine chapters that deal with different types of fortune-telling. I have enjoyed reading about the different techniques, and have tried many myself. I especially like the chapter on I-Ching. The diagrams and charts in all the chapters are easily understood. I'm truly sorry to read that this book is out of ...

Elementary, my dear reader...
The first Sherlock Holmes book I ever read was given to me as a gift for my thirteenth birthday. It was a collection of the short stories, with a wonderful leather trim and gold leafing, and I thought it was fantastic. I read the first story, and was instantly hooked. Within a few days, I was disappointed with my wonderful new book because it was incomplete. I had devoured all of the selected ...

Years ago, after reading the books, I never missed an episode of the NPR sponsered TV program on Channel 6 in Sacramento, CA. In the early '90's, my son (USAF) and family were sent to England and my husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit there and actually toured the Yorkshire dales and countryside. We were able to visit the real home of this wonderful veterinarian and the one ...

While Steel's books may not hold high literary status, her books are popular, and reading The Ring is one of her best efforts. Steel, through her well honed writing skills, takes the female character through several love relationships starting with a character that she learned to love against all odds. Her love of a German Nazi solider, and her love of another, finally leads to finding the ...

Aimed at the 7-11 year old group.
The full title of this book reads; "SEA HUNTERS - SHARKS, KILLER WHALES AND DOLPHINS also includes Crocodiles and Alligators." That title appears on the front cover exactly as shown in terms of upper and lower case and gives the impression that Crocodiles and Alligators were added as an afterthought. This is a book which is aimed at the 7-11 year age group and, with a very predicable ...

"A tale about a tail..."
This cute little book was written and illustrated by the great Beatrix Potter (1866-1943) in 1903, the second of her many wonderful stories. This book tells the tale of Squirrel Nutkin, who refuses to show respect for an important owl, and pays the price. Overall, I found this to be a cute story, and a lot of fun to read to my little one. The "riddles" are obvious in their answer, but still a ...
