Disapppointing, get E.D. Hirsch instead.
This book sounded like it would provide me with a good basis for conversations with my child - instead it suggested simply talking to my child about her day - nothing new here. Get E.D. Hirsch what every 6th grader should know if you really want to know what your 6th grader is (or should be) learning.
