I disagree with most of the other reviewers...I used this book in my storytimes at my library and the children ALL liked it. Can't go wrong...
As a music teacher...I sing this book to my Kindergarten ,and 1st grade classes. It would be excellent for preschoolers also. They absolutely love it and join in singing everytime. They actually shout "yay" when I get the book out. This is my Third copy of "There were Ten in a bed" because I literally wore out the other two!

This is a terriffic book for use in the music classroom, and at home. As a book that can be either sung or read, it is versatile. It's large size and colorful illustrations draw kids attention. I have personally found it to be very effective with my kindergarten through third grade students. I highly reccommend it to anyone looking for a good book for younger kids that can be sung or read!

One of my all time favorite christmas books
We meet the liitle mouse again (first book is The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and The Big Hungry Bear) This time the little mouse finds the big hunger bear has no friends and no presents on christmas. The little mouse dresses as Santa and brings gifts to the big hungry bear. This a wonderfully delightful book. The pictures are so beautiful. This a great book!

Cute not deep
My kids found this story cute. I have twins in kindergarten, shoe tying is a big frustration. They can both tie but get annoyed with shoes coming untied. This added a bit of humor to the situation, not a solution but there isnt one so what can you say?
