Peter and the Shadow Thieves (The Starcatchers) 63 reviews Dave Barry, Ridley Pearson
Disney Editions, 2007
As Good As The First Another absolutely charming and action packed installment of the Peter series. As an adult, much of the fun I derive from these books are the clever way the characters you're familiar with come into being, as well as in this book the cameo appearance by a certain author who will figure heavily in Peter's future. Picking up almost where the last book left off, Peter must race to London to warn ...

This is a totally outstanding set of Peter Pan adventures Peter and Tinker Bell are perfectly happy on Mollusk Island. Peter and the Starcatchers 214 reviews Dave Barry, Ridley Pearson
Disney Editions, 2006
Fun series; I always wanted to know what happened to make Peter the way he is! What happened before Peter Pan met Wendy? That's what Berry and Pearson try to address in this book. And it's a lot of fun to read about. This book is the first in a trilogy about the orphan Peter and the Starcatchers.
Peter and his orphan buddies are shipped off on a rickety old boat called the Neverland. They are going to be slaves to the king of far off country. Peter befriends a girl on ...

BE OUR GUEST 15 reviews Disney Institute
Disney Editions, 2003
Service Excellence Great book with actionable ideas that I have implemented in my company and they are making a possitive difference. Even if you are not in a "leadership" position, by sharing these processes with your boss or even testing them on a small scale and letting others see the possitive impact, you will look like a star. Disney is not a huge success by accident.
Bottom line: it all comes back to ...

Escape from the Carnivale: A Never Land Book 12 reviews Ridley Pearson, Dave Barry
Disney Editions, 2006
Good Short Story Involving the Minor Characters of the Original Barry/Pearson Prequel Masterpieces! Although this short story does not contain either of the two great main characters Peter and Molly from the masterpieces Peter and the Starcatchers or the sequel to that prequel Peter and the Shadow Thieves and its length is only a fifth at most of either of those two books, it's still a great read.
Escape from the Carnivale allows a couple of the minor characters from the other adventures ...

WALT DISNEY: AN AMERICAN ORIGINAL 32 reviews Bob Thomas

Wonderful Insight to a GREAT MAN If you are a Disney fan this is the one to read. Lots of info about his early days & how Disneyland came to be. He was sure he would die before he had finished what he set out to do. The Disney company was never the same after his death.
But is John Lassiter the new Walt..... Let's hope so.

Disney Lost and Found: Exploring the Hidden Artwork from Never-Produced Animation 1 review Charles Solomon
Disney Editions, 2008
Pretty neat stuff It's interesting to see what might have been in the history of animated Disney movies. Sometimes it's easy to read between the lines of the fairly neutral text and see why the movie would have been a bad idea, or why portions were cut, and other times it's baffling, but the artwork is always stunning and deserves to be enjoyed by a wider audience than the Disney archivists!

Pirate Guidelines, The: A Booke for Those Who Desire to Keep to the Code and Live a Pirate's Life (Pirates of ... 10 reviews Joshamee Gibbs
Disney Editions, 2007
Excellent Pirate Companion Book How can anyone not rate this book 5 stars. The book is based on the premise that Mr. Gibbs wrote down the pirate code since he was always explaining it on all three POC movies. Its an easy read and a very thorough narrative of pirate history. I would recommend to anyone interested in learning more than what POC has taught us about pirates.

How Does the Show Go On (Library Edition) 21 reviews Thomas Schumacher
Disney Editions, 2008
The Theatre Experience Explored One of the biggest changes the theater has seen of late was Disney's successful track record with bringing their story-telling to the stage. As with most of Disney's greatest successes, their efforts were immediately unique as they ignored many of the rules along the way. In the process, their shows introduced a new audience to the wonders of live theater. So it's only appropriate that the ...
