Kurt, Jr. Vonnegut

Doubleday Books, 1982

Vintage Science Fiction
This is Kurt Vonnegut's Masterpiece. It achieves everything that good science fiction aspires to achieve. The world of Billy Pilgrim is not to be missed. This definitely has to be one of the greatest science fiction books ever written if not it is in the top 10. John

Where the Red Fern Grows1201 reviews
Wilson Rawls

Doubleday Books, 1987

Ah a blast from the past
I had to read this book in elementary school, but I've been thinking about it lately and wondered if it was still around. Looks like it's not only around, but being used in schools just as regularly as before. Also with 1200+ reviews, I'm not sure it needs any more, including this one. I will say that even though I haven't read it in twenty years, that it still makes me want to shed a little ...

Must READ Book
Tuesdays with Morrie: An Old Man, a Young Man, and Life's Greatest Lesson This is one of the best books I have ever read. I read this as part of a college assignment. It was one of the best assignments ever. This book taught the class so much about living life, and living it to the fullest. If you are facing difficult times in your life, this is a MUST READ. Perhaps someone you know is ...

The Hiding Place189 reviews
Elizabeth Sherrill, Corrie Ten Boom, ...

Doubleday Books, 1995

Happy with the quality of the book
This book is beautiful inside and out. The outside is burgundy leather? bound with gold stamped letters. Very classic looking. The story itself is so well written, Corrie ten Boom draws you into her family. To hear how God worked miracles in spite of German occupation and concentration camps, and the lack of money and resources, was very faith building. I highly recommend this book.

Linda A. Fairstein

Doubleday Books, 2008

This is Fairstein's best
"Killer Heat" is Linda Faristein's best novel, yet. Her books just get better and better; and I can hardly wait until the next book is revealed to us.

How to Talk with Practically Anybody about Practically Anything6 reviews
Barbara Walters

Doubleday Books, 1983

must have
For a journalist, it's how you start a conversation that's most crucial. Her insights on how to start a pleasant conversation will certainly teach journalists as well as others on how to start a chat. This book is for eager learners.

Doubleday Books, 1988

Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret
I'm aware that this book is for younger readers (at least, younger than me) but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to pass up writing a review of one of my favorite books of all-time. I read this book first in fourth grade. Then again in sixth. And I remember loving it; it helped influence my big life decisions back then, because there was something so real and unique about it. I couldn't ...

Could't even sleep while reading this book!!!
This is by far one of the best new books on my bookshelf. While i am a christian and do not agree with all that is put in this book i know it is just that, a book. Not someones ploy to convert me to another religion but just simply a wonderful read to be enjoyed but thousands of people. Thank you dan brown for this and all of your other wonderful books!!!

Cat & Mouse324 reviews
James Patterson

Doubleday Books, 1998

Another Great Book!
I really loved this book. Not only did it have the return of the series' best psycho (so far), but it also featured another memorable psycho, Mr. Smith. The ending is so twisted and unbelievable. I loved every minute of it and couldn't get enough of it. S.L.
