This is the greatest science curriculum ever! I don't use it alone though. We frequent the library to supplement what we are learning. But all the worksheets are wonderful! Wonderful approach, disappointing music
The material is very thorough and usable for different ages. The teacher's guide is quite easy to use. However, the music CD is very disappointing. The lyrics would be great for memorization. Too bad the vocals and music are not at all pleasing to listen to, much less sing, especially for children. My children like to sing and this was something I thought would be very helpful. There's really enough material here for several school years. Most of the text in the teacher's manual is written for the teacher to read aloud. Teacher's instructions are italicized. Answers to questions are enclosed in parentheses.
