Just buy it
If you own the Nikon Coolpix 8800 (or 8400) just buy this 2 disk DVD, UNLESS you have an IQ of 200 and just love to read the instruction manuals that come with the camera. Since this camera is now discontinued, I would suggest buying this DVD soon. I own both the Nikon 8800 and 8400 and love them. Thank heaven for this DVD.

Nikon D300 Made Easy 1&2
This is the second Elite Video I have purchased. The first, for the Nikon D80, was excellent. This effort for the Nikon D300 is also excellent allowing a quick tutorial on what can be a complicated camera. Unlike other reviewers, the discs I received played without problem. I highly recommend this product and cannot imagine trying to learn the camera with only Nikon's manual.

I found this DVD to be very helpful with getting to know the Canon XH A1 Video camera. You don't actually NEED to view the DVD...You could set the camera to "auto" and get nice images.
