This Chicken Soup Warmed my Soul
Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul: Journal, was one of the most moving books I have read. It is directed towards adolescents, and deals with issues every adolescent girl faces. It's a blend of stories, quotes, poems, and spaces to write your thoughts. This book has many different sections such as: family, learning lessons, love and kindness, and tough stuff. My favorite section, however, is ...

AMAZING BOOOOOK!!!!
This first semester I've been reading the Chicken Soup books during SSR time. One I enjoyed reading the most was the Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul IV, a nonfiction book. There are a few authors who submit their stories and they are all true. The authors who put the book together though are Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Kimberley Kirberger, and Mitch Claspy. The book is full of true ...

A must have resource for any adolescent girl
As a obstetrican/gynecologist AND parent of one teen daughter and one preteen daughter, I have to say that this is a MUST have for any adolescent girl in today's society. I applaud these authors for tackling this often avoided topic. This is the most infomative and "teen-friendly" source available. It is written in such a way that it speaks to girls in a language they can understand and ...

A great gift!
I bought this book as a gift for my 16yr old niece. The very next day, she told me how much she loved the book. She even cried reading it. I think it's nice to find reading materials that can move the minds and feelings of teenagers.

Honest and Intriguing
This book gives insight to the real teenager and thoughts they may not normally share in a verbal manner. It is honest and expressive in a way that kids can relate to. What a wonderful reading for both adults and kids.

Chicken Soup!
I absolutely love all chicken soup books and this one was equally amazing. I thought that Chicken Soup for the Christian Teenage Soup was very well written. The stories were very realistic and I think that anyone could relate to them. It covered everyday issues like school, family, friends, and just faith in general. In short this book is very heartwarming and can be read by most everyone.

good for teens
The Chicken Soup books for teens are fabulous! My daughter really gets into them, she is not a teen that always is reading, but when she gets a new Chicken soup book she reads until she is done. We even talk about some of the stories in the books. I recommend them. True stories can help a teen get over what ever is going on in their own life problems.

This book makes you want to starve yourself
I think that people should stop writing books on Anorexia, Bulimia and Cutting because it only drives you to do it. While reading this book I myself suffer from being a Cutter and a Bulimic, every time Samantha cut herself it made me want to cut, every time Hannah made herself throw up I wanted to make myself throw up, every time Phoebe went into the kitchen to fill up on milk, cookies, ice ...

Warning: Contents May be Addictive!
This book illustrates 100% the emotional roller coaster that is a teen's everyday life; one word covers it all--real. "People love others not for who they are, but for how they make them feel."--Irwin Federman. That is exactly what Teen Ink's most soul-stirring book yet emulates. Teen Ink: Love and Relationships is filled with heartfelt stories, art and poems, some painful, and some joyous. ...

Review in the Dirt
All my life, I have loved stories. I have been a bookworm since I could read. What Thomas Jefferson said was true: "I cannot live without books." We have so much to learn from the wise adults who cultivate beautiful tapestries with their pens. But there is just as much to learn from teenagers, the bright youth of the world, and Teen Ink gives a voice to these bright young individuals. This sixth ...

GREAT BOOKS!
Chicken Soup the Real Deal: Friends I just recently read Chicken Soup the Real Deal: Friends. This book is a very good book. It tells many stories of people who are really close to others, or have had a problem with friends in the past. I think that Chicken Soup books are very easy to read, it also doesn't take long to read them if you can relate to the stories in them. I have always loved ...

My Review
Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul: Letters is a collective book of responses to the first three novels of Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul. Each story is just as heart warming as the stories in the original book, but this time the stories are ones that occurred due to the previous books in the series. Each story delivers a heart felt lesson of an "oh well, I guess that my life isn't that bad ...

An Inspirational Book for All-Read it!
On the cover of the new Teen Ink book What Matters, it claims that it's "telling it like it really is." This could not be more truthful. Filled with emotional and refreshingly honest stories, teens reveal their most personal, life-altering moments and the values that they have come to cherish and live by. This book describes feelings and explores questions and challenges that every teen ...

Teen Ink: Our Voices, Our Visions
This book has some amazing and inspiring stories, all written by teenagers. There are some moments to which everybody can relate, like a first crush or the death of a family member; Other stories are unique and exciting (one teen writes about being held captive at gunpoint in his family home). The book is easy to read, written by a variety of teens in their natural voices. I think it is wonderful ...
