Something beyond country crafting
I was looking for something that offered a different approach from appliqued flowers and standard flowery blocks and I wasnt disappointed. I also wanted to be able to make quilts that used "preloved fabrics" couragously and in particular embroidered doilies that had seen better days. Tiny, yes a tiny book that is not packed with information. Nice pictures but so few recipes that even the pictures can't make up of the lack of substance. I might be nice if you were putting together a gift basket for someone and could get it for a few dollars ($5.00 max in my opinion) but other than that I wouldn't bother.
