This is a book for someone who has learned the very basics and wants to see how all those chords, scales and strumming patterns apply to real music. Great collection with plenty of challenge for the intermediate piano player. Several songs are written in keys with many flats/sharps thus requiring patience and practice. Includes a few pictures from the play, also. Label on the front calls this a "standard piano/vocal format with the melody in the piano part."

Truly, this is a great collection of songs, and you will find many songs here you already know... and many you don't. Consider searching the internet for some mp3 and midi files for some of these songs. You will come up with many more songs that will increase your repertoire immediately. Worth its weight in Gold
This book is fantastic! It's not like alot of vocal selection books that just have the solo works, this had the multiple parts built into the staff to create the beautiful harmonies and chords that are affluent in the musical! Definately worth the wait! Reccomend it to anyone who knows the musical, or just wants to learn to sing such amazing music! I only wish they would have had the reprise in ...
