Good story I enjoyed the book. It was a little far fetched but isn't that what books are supposed to be. I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next saga.

The Healing Powers of Vinegar, Revised and Updated 24 reviews Cal Orey
Kensington, 2006
A wealth of information I was a "vinegar virgin" until I read Cal Orey's marvelous book and discovered all the wonderful uses for this common household product, both culinary and medicinal. This book is exceptionally well-written and well-researched. I was surprised to learn that vinegar can also be used as a household cleaning product and can even be of use to our pets. Thanks for writing this book that will help many ...

The Art of Seduction 224 reviews
Kensington-Brava, 2007
History, Psychology, and Philosophy rolled into one. Robert Greene is a highly talented writer. He uses history and psychology to back up his overall philosophy. The Art of Seduction is interesting both for its many stories and for the alternative philosophy.
Every reader will learn much about themselves in these pages, even if they choose to repress the part of themselves that Mr. Greene is trying to set free from the restrictive morality ...

Band Fags! 3 reviews Frank Anthony Polito
Kensington, 2008
Band Fags of the world unite! Hilarious and angst-ridden, "Band Fags" is a wonderful trip down memory lane for those of us who came of age in the eighties, sort of a gay version of that fantastic television show Freaks and Geeks - The Complete Series. Especially if you came out and enjoyed / endured high school band - and the stigma that goes along with it, you'll love this. Am I, or am I not? All the intense ...

Lemon Meringue Pie Murder (Hannah Swensen Mysteries) 29 reviews Joanne Fluke
Kensington, 2004
great light, clean reading and recipes that are easy and tasty!! great light reading. Joanne Fluke does not rely on sex or gore to create a story that is entertaining. she often provides a few interesting factoids throughout too. and the recipes in all the Hannah Swensen novels I've read are my favorites. I use almost no other cookie recipes anymore. you don't need to let the butter soften first, and you don't need to use a mixer. and the results --yum!!!

Fudge Cupcake Murder (Hannah Swensen Mysteries) 37 reviews Joanne Fluke

Fudgyliscious! This is my favorite book so far of the Hannah Swensen mysteries. Partially because of the title...I cannot resist anything fudgy to include cupcakes.
The hometown charm of Lake Eden still gets to me as well. I love to read about the characters I already know, and it seems I am catching up with old friends everytime.
As far as the mystery, it had an interesting take. One of the characters we ...
