Succubus Dreams (Georgina Kincaid, Book 3)4 reviews

Kensington Publishing Corp, 2008

Great book with big developments!
Richelle Mead claims on her blog that she doesn't want to write stories where everything ends the same way it started. In this third installment of her Georgina Kincaid series, Mead proves this is true. This Seattle-based story is certainly no mere sitcom. The characters continue to develop in realistic, believable ways that keep you drooling for more. Our lovable succubus tries to juggle her ...

Candy Canes, Warm and Comfortable
This is one of the most wonderful, charming, interesting, and fun books that I have ever read. I was very satisfied when I finished it. This book is three books in one, by three different authors. All three books are fun, very well-written, clever, and entertaining. "Candy Cane Murder" by Joanne Fluke: The first book is by Joanne Fluke. Anybody who reads my reviews knows how crazy I am over ...

Succubus Blues59 reviews

Kensington Publishing Corp, 2007

Can't go wrong with this one...
Demons and Angels have never mixed well. They're not supposed to, of course. Though that doesn't stop either forces from interacting with one another, and getting involved, even if it seems odd. Even unorthodox... Welcome to Georgina Kincaid's life. A mix of real and surreal, mystical and something else. As the reigning succubus in the Seattle area, and manager at Emerald City Bookstore, ...

Satanism and Witchcraft: The Classic Study of Medieval Superstition5 reviews
Jules Michelet

Kensington Publishing Corp., 1998

A true masterpiece.....
This book is breataking in it's lyrical prose and subject matter. It reads almost like a grand novel. I honestly have read nothing like it, ever! I have 2 copies of it, the 1st one I got was so large and I wanted to tote it around with me so I got a small PB version. This is a not to be missed study, story, fairytale like work.

The Way It Wasn't: Great Science Fiction Stories of Alternate History3 reviews
Martin Harry Greenberg, Robert Silverberg

Kensington Publishing Corp., 1998

Very Entertaining
A highly entertaining series of short stories. The stories in this book are very original and are not reprinted in many other collections of Alternate History, with the exception of two. If you love alternate history, I encourage you to read, if not buy this book.

Witchcraft: The Old Religion5 reviews
Leo Louis Martello

Kensington Publishing Corp., 1998

Thought provoking....
This book is highly opinionated and NOT for the closed minded. It states the true history of witchcraft as a religion and spiritual practice, not what christians have deluded themselves in thinking it as.It brings up many facts to provide support for it's controversial subject matter. This is a book that is educational and a true test for christians saying witchcraft is evil.

Knock Off14 reviews

Kensington Publishing Corp, 2007

Really enjoyed it
"Knock Off" was a great read. It is exactly what I look for in this kind of book. Likeable characters, a clever mystery, not too much "romance novel" emotional blather and a sense of fun. Finley is a paralegal who is more interested in shopping online at work than climbing the corporate ladder until she is drawn into solving the death of the husband of one of her probate clients. The only gripe I ...

What Happens When You Die: From Your Last Breath to the First Spadeful6 reviews
Robert T. Hatch

Kensington Publishing Corp., 1998

Not Bad
I had worked for a funeral home at one time, many years ago. I wish this book had been available then, since there were, and still are so many questions. More often than not, it's the family of the departed who want to know what really happpens and this book would have eased a lot of the tension. Morticians seem to have a mysterious aire about them, almost as if their work is a deep, dark secret. ...

Don't Sleep with a Bubba:20 reviews

Kensington Publishing Corp, 2007

Simply ..."pee your pants funny" and heartfelt
Just finished reading Don't Sleep with a Bubba: Unless Your Eggs are in Wheelchairs and per usual, I laughed til I almost wet myself (perhaps more information than you bargained for), and cried as well. Loved it! I will force the women of my mom's club to purchase every last copy at barnes and noble! Also, wanted to say thank you to Susan for her heart-felt honesty with regard to depression ...
