Great for Beginners
I received this as a gift when I first began to cook. It is wonderful!! Receipes vary from easy to moderately difficult. There are clear instuctions and every dish has a picture. There are many dishes that I use as my "stand-by" receipes for guests because they are simple, able to be prepared ahead and delicious. I highly recommend this to all cooks who love easy and delicious Italian meals.

The Best!!
Owning over 100 cookbooks, this is the one that I turn to most often. One can turn out a marvelous French dinner and not spend a huge amount of time preparing it. I have yet to try a recipe that isn't excellent and I have prepared many of them. Highly recommend this book. Not being able to buy a new one now, have ordered used to give as gifts. They have all arrived in excellent condition.

A treasure-trove of tasty treats, this book is wonderful. The ingredients for each recipe are simple and easy to find, and the directions are clear and concise. Hi, I recently bought this book. I normally do not buy cookbooks but when I started flipping through this I knew it was worth purchasing. The recipes are delicious and easy. They are shown with pictures which makes it easier. If you want to try some different cuisines this is the one to get and try. I am glad I did.

most exhaustive and up-to-date encyclopedia-type book about dinosaurs I've found!
My son has LOTS of dinosaur books, and this one is by far the best. At first, I was disapointed at its smaller-than-usual dimensions, but then I realized it was a GOOD thing! It's easier for his to carry and to look through, and easier on me if I have to shlep it to a restaurant. I can't recommend this highly enough.

I just love cats. If it weren't for this book I wouldn't of found any of our kittens' breeds. This lists down probably every breed of cat there is, except wild and extinct cats that is.
