Super book to work in!
I got this book as an accompaniment to another Spanish book I bought at the same time. This book is so much better! It gives very clear explanations and examples and the best are the exercises and translations that you are asked to do. The complete answer key is in the back to check your work. I highly recommend this book!

Great copy of unabridged Count of Monte Cristo
We only recently found out that all our copies of The Count of Monte Cristo were abridged. We checked this out of our local library and liked it so much we bought a copy for our home library. The type setting is very readable and best of all, it's not abridged. The story is a classic and a great read. I recommend it for everyone.

Just buy it. You'll finish your marathon.
Prior to training, I had run ONE 5k race (mostly walked), and never actually ran for excercise for more than 3 miles. I began this training wanting to see how far I'd get and the next thing I know I was 15-20 pounds lighter and crossing the tape at that Dallas WhiteRock marathon in 2003 at 4:18:13. Don't get me wrong, I was in pain. It wasn't easy. But as they say, the pain is ...

Up to date book and very relevant
With today's marketing ideas changing considerably I found this book a refreshing new approach to a difficult situation of getting referrals. I have already put their ideas into play and find they work very well. Well worth the read.

Wooden
I bought this book for my student/athlete son. I had him read the book and find five things that he could immediately apply to his life. The book is written in such a manner that the parallels between sports and life are seamlessly interwoven. By using sports as a platform of relativity, I feel I am raising my son to be a confident and responsible man. This is a must-read for fathers and sons.

Highly recommended - the best!
To put it simple, this book is great, clear, concise and complete. Plenty of examples, samples and answers. Unlike other Spanish language books, this book gets down to little details.
Divided Soul - The Life of Marvin Gaye

I couldn't put it down
I have to admit I was fascinated by this book soon after I picked it up. Everyone knows Marvin Gaye's often hypersexed music, but it's intriguing to hear the story behind all of that music. His internal struggles and unstable life are chronicled in surprising detail. A serious downfall of many music biographies is their inability to adequately tie the events of the subject's life with the ...

A definite keeper - great selection of Asian recipes
Charmaine Solomon's The Complete Asian Cookbook is an excellent collection of recipes covering India & Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia & Laos, Vietnam, Philippines, China, Korea, and Japan. Though by no means comprehensive, the author does try to cover the basic recipes, regional favorites, and offers a variety of curries, noodle dishes, even ...

Emerged from the pack as my favorite
Even as a beginner in spanish, studying mostly at home with books and digital files (Learning Spanish Like Crazy and Rocket Spanish) and occasional visits to a local spanish tutor -- I have found this book to be my best source for grammar clarification. I purchased about 5 grammar books. My other favorites were actually workbooks rather than reference sources -- likely to diminish in ...

Terrific
I find it difficult to reread a book, but I have read Duncton Wood three times and am beginning to reread the rest in the series. I had to order the books from Amazon UK a few years back, but I think now they might be out of print. Do what you can to find every book in the series. You won't be disappointed. I don't know what you can say to convince people to read these books, but they are worth ...

I have been listing and selling real estate for 24 years and have read many books on real estate sales and this truly is one of the best. I've read it twice in the last month and highly recommend that every real estate salesperson read it.

A real lifesaver
Thank goodness that a real life mom, who has a tremendous educational background finally wrote a book that a mom of 2 children under the age of 2 can relate too. With both of my children they were sleeping through the night by 7 weeks and we only deal with a few night wakenings a week. One piece of advice, some toddlers do remember everyday what the sleep fairy brings them. But if this is the ...
