A Lovely Gift Book
We think this is a lovely book to give to new grandparents, especially those with a love of lighthouses, to read to a grandchild at about age 5. In fact, we have purchased several for that purpose. There is a worthwhile message for children about protecting wildlife. The writing, in poem form, is charming and the illustrations are enchanting.

Great book for boys who love nature and wilderness!
My son was very reluctant to read; he was actualy falling behind in his 3rd grade class. He wasn't interested in any books at the school library (very small - Montana town - blink and you will miss it!) so I ordered the whole series of Buck Wilder and my son loves them. He also enjoys Fudge too. We hope there will be more Buck Wilder books coming out!
