Good Source for USMLE Step 2 Ck
This 7th edition has a lot of add-in. It covers almost subject I faced in the exam. But you still need UW or Kaplan Bank

Definitely worth the money!
The Lange case files books are great, the pediatric one included. Putting this information into a case really helps make it memorable and manageable.

Just what I needed!
This is my favorite book to study from. It gives you the essentials to pretty much any health related problem. Ok, so it's not Harrison's book of internal medicine. But it is small enough that I can carry it without getting a hernia.

The Way to Success in USMLE Step 1
"First Aid for the USMLE Step 1, 2010 edition" has been significantly revised and changed compare to the previous editions, according to one of my friends experience, who had read the previous editions as well as 2010. If you want to be successful in USMLE Step 1 in 2011, you must have one of this book around. Of course, it is not sufficient to pass the exam, but it is one of the must-read ...

Slightly more preferred than Lippincott.
I have had Lippincott's Illustrated Reviews: Pharmacology, 4th Edition (Lippincott's Illustrated Reviews Series) for my entire second year of medical school. I recently purchased this book, and although I can't give a thorough post-Step 1 review yet, I do prefer studying (for exams and Step 1) from this book rather than Lippincott's. The chapters are more lined up with the way my pharmacology ...

Good review for the beginning of clinical rotation
I purchased this book because one of the authors is the director of the family medicine clerkship at my medical school. The book is a great introduction to family medicine and the most common patient cases you will see in the clinic. The book focuses more on clinical diagnosis and disease management than it does on pathophysiology, so if you want disease process details, you will need to ...

Great Overview
Of the few sources I looked through, this one was the best bang for the buck. Unlike others in the PreTest series most of these questions are either similar to the shelf or very helpful to your learning. I only wish I had discovered it sooner and gone through it twice. It is not comprehensive - nothing short of 500 pages will be I imagine, but overall this is probably one of the best books ...

I love Amazon.com and the shipping was excellent and prompt! This book is also wonderful. It gave me helpful tips for especially the interview for PA school. It must have worked because I got into the school of my choice! I would recommend this to anyone pursuing this career!

Fantastic Resource for In Class
This handbook is a fantastic synopsis of the chapters in Pharmacotherapy. It's a great size to bring to class. Although it does not have all the information of the larger book, it is a much easier to handle resource.

Awesome, almost comprehensive
I bought the PDA version of this book (I'm so grateful to fit it into my pocket, along with my other 5 pda texts). This book is amazing, it not only engages the learner in active critical thinking(as opposed to passive reading), it gives a very thorough presentation of each of the 60 topics it covers, with pearls and fine points to differentiate the subtle aspects of history, presentation, etc. ...

Excellent Text
I teach healthcare policy and am currently using this text. It does a great job covering the important issues. It's quite readable, as a new edition very topical and, through the use of vignettes, humanizes the consequences of policy decisions. It also has questions keyed to each chapter for assignment use. It is not an academic text and I am supplementing with articles (many of which can be ...

Great Book, Bad Index
I received this book about a week ago to supplement my studying for my Medical Immunology and Microbiology course. This has been terrific at helping to clarify the lectures that my professors give. The only problem that I've found is that the Index is not always correct in terms of page numbers. If you are looking for something and can't find it on the pages listed in the index, look a page ...

What more do you need?
This was the only book I used during my clinical rotation in Psych. Fadem's High Yield Psych is also great. If you're planning on becoming a psychiatrist, then you should get the massive Synopsis of Psychiatry... which I always thought was just way too much info for most people. This book fits in your white coat pocket and is great for reviewing questions in your spare time. It consists of ...
