A dental office manager must have!
This book is a must have for any dental office manager. Whether the office manager has dental background or not. I found it to be a great help in every aspect concerning front office to working with the hygienist and doctor. We incorporated many of the suggestions offered through reading the book.

I read this book from library, then decide to have one
this is really a good book, good pictures and good text with updated biomedical knowledge. Excellent and concise summary at the end of each chapter made the book even more lovely! Also it provided good application examples in terms of integreting the theory and practice. I decided to keep one at hand after I read it. The one that I ordered is the hard-covered 17th version, 1106 pages.Just ...

Fantastic book ...
I used this book for my undergrad class and luckily my med school also uses this. As well as my husband has a previous copy that he used in med school. The text is very thorough, although it was lacking in a basic classification of bacteria, that would have been nice. (Like a chart of all gram - on one side and all gram +). Just gave a previous edition to a physician for reference and he ...

The basics, clearly defined
I was issued this book as one of many during my paramedic program. It was intended for the anatomy and physiology module of the course, and I could not see a better way to get a quicker grasp and overview of the human body and its systems. This book does a great job of putting every simple and to the point. I have used other books for A&P courses that I've taken in college, which were much ...

it is a wealth of information . . . .
this book has an amazing amount of information in it. the only drawback is that you cannot find what you are looking for. very little is indexed, and i do not want to spend the time it would take to page through the book and find it.

An Excellant Resource
After attending several classes taught by one of the authors, Mary Lough, I purchased this book and have found it to be an excellent resource. I am new to critical care nursing, and I consult this textbook an average of twice a week. Some consider the language overly technical, but I find it to be crisp and concise. As to Ms. Wisniewski's criticism in her 10/4/00 review, I believe that the ...
