The Bronze Bow Study Guide2 reviews
Carole Pelttari

Progeny Press, 1996

Great study guide!!
My 6th grade son, 9th grade son and I read the Bronze Bow and went through the entire study guide together. The study guide was an excellent tool to help us understand the underlying theme and messages the author is trying to communicate. I highly recommend it. It is especially great for use in 1:1 and group discussions. Our appreciation for The Bronze Bow increased two fold because of this ...

The Screwtape Letters Study Guide9 reviews
Michael Poteet

Progeny Press, 2001

Useful for Thorough Investigation
(I'm taking a 14 and 15 year old through the book.) It's hard sometimes to know if the teens are getting it. Both have responded favorably to the vocabulary sections (which are tremendously helpful for their age group) and general questions. I think it's hard for them to internalize what they've read so the study guide allows them to apply it to their personal experiences.

To Kill a Mockingbird Study Guide2 reviews
Andrew Clausen

Progeny Press, 1994

THIS BOOK ROCKS
This unique story of a man's integrity and honesty incorporates the evident innocence that one black man has. In the face of a bias trial he is unfairly found guilty of a crime he clearly did not commit. The racial discrimination uncovered in this book is unjust and is still being debated around the world as many people think these human beings aren't equal.

I have been searching for years for a comprehensive study guide to J.R.R. Tolkien's, The Hobbit--and alas! I've found it! The Magician's Nephew Study Guide1 review
Andrew Clausen

Progeny Press, 1997

An EXCELLENT resource for Home School, or any classroom!
This Study Guide comes loose leaf (about 50 pages), on basic 24lb paper w/a binder. BUT, this is no cheap, quick study guide -- a lot of thought has gone into developing this resource. This will enable any educator/Home School Parent to do an in-depth study of the Magician's Nephew, on a multidisciplinary approach. I am unable to express how wonderful, and useful this resource is. ...

A Day No Pigs Would Die Study Guide1 review

A Day No Pigs Would Die Review
After reading this book, I would reccomend this book for teens. In my opinion, this book was very amusing! The most amusing part to me was when Rob was at the Rutland Fair looking for perverts. I also think that this book was very easy to relate to since I'm a teenager and I know what Rob was going through. I have troble in school just like Rob did in Laungeuge Arts when he got a "D". This ...

The Giver Study Guide3 reviews
Andrew Clausen

Progeny Press, 1997

Students suprised
I used this guide with the 7th & 8th graders at a Catholic School. The comparison of book themes and bible references was very useful. The students came to see the Bible as a work of literature and to understand the concept of a parable. My students were suprised to discover that you could find a spiritual aspect to a "regular" book.
