One of Those Odd Literary Coincidences, Part 3
In one of those odd literary coincidences two Moby Dick fans simultaneously got the bright idea of writing fictional accounts about Ahab's wife, but while Sena Jeter Naslund was writing for publication, Louise M. Gouge was writing her dissertation novel, not really expecting to ever publish it. (One assumes that the critical and commercial success of Naslund's Ahab's Wife: Or, The Star-gazer: A ...

Great reading
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Sinner. Not only is it well-written, intriguing, and suprising, it's also a fun read. It's obvious Sharon Carter Rogers has a sense of humor to go along with her vivid imagination. Addtionally, it's great to read a Christian novel that speaks the truth of Christ, without forcing it down the readers throat. The author does a superb job of examining the issue of ...

Beautiful, moving story of forgiveness and redemption...
Coldwater Revival is an absolutely stunning debut novel, a literary work of art chronicling the story of one woman's journey from crippling loss and self-condemnation into the light of healing and the freedom of restoration. Set to marry Gavin O'Donnell, Emma Grace seeks healing for her heart which was shattered by devastating loss and guilt years before. Her journey into the past forces Emma to ...

EXCELLENT novel with great characters and exciting plot
"The Demas Revelation" is a great novel. I am an avid reader and I can honestly say this book is entertaining and well written. The main character, Anna, is well developed and undergoes many tough situations. She is an archeologist and uncovers some very interesting things. The supporting characters are also well done and add much to the flavor and plot design. The local flavor of Italy as ...

The Almost Perfect Western
This story has all the components of a prototypical work of the western genre: gold mining, gun fights, poker games, bank robbery, rustling, necktie party, chase scenes, and, of course, romance. Unlike most westerns, however, this one keeps the reader in stitches. Mary Jane is one of the funniest characters you are bound to run across in your literary travels. Add in a good dose of the gospel, ...

The Best Western I've Ever Read!
Terry Burns has a way with characterization, and his inspirational western "Mysterious Ways" kept me turning the pages until the end. Not an easy feat, because I usually shy away from westerns. But this story, with clean language, a quick paced-plot and Scriptural content, compelled me to keep on reading. I will be watching for Terry's next book!

Gritty Gumshoe Gives Another Great Tale
Hard-boiled Christian gumshoe Joe Box is back, and this time he's facing one of the worst foes he's ever encountered since becoming a Christian. wonderful inspirational romance

Her best friend Laurie bullies a reluctant Marguerite to attend Beginning Drawing at the college; the "crime scene" where she met Rob's father Phil. Interesting and Insightful.
Spiritual deception is easy for almost anyone to fall into. It can infiltrate even the most mainstream denominations. Becca Anderson takes on the difficult task of pointing out some things we all have to look out for, without pointing any fingers. I read The Gathering Place all in one night. As noted in the one review, I saw Casey as somewhat childlike, however, no more so than the average ...

Another Jack Cavanaugh Victory
So far, every time I read Cavanaugh, I like the books just a little more. This one features 5 different story threads masterfully written so that one's emotions are alternately tugged at and prodded. I didn't cry, but I was close (and that's saying something for me:-) Alexandra, taking after her father, joins the air force and becomes one of the first women trained in the B-17 bomber. She's ...

a real eye opener!
Wow! what a novel. I enjoyed this book and it was an eye opener for me. I had never heard of this condition before and learned so much. It was not sugar coated and it did not have a fairy tale ending. That's one of the things I enjoyed most about the book. It was just true to life. It makes me even more thankful for my wonderful husband and the life I live. I would love to read more novels ...

Must Read!
What an excellent book! I have recommended this book over and over and will continue to do so until everyone I know has read it. Ms. McCullough's words are wise and well chosen and I found the book to be a very easy read. The words linger long after the book is closed. She shows how the simple act of doing the right thing and being true to yourself and others is the true key to success. ...
