Best Christian sex manual out there!
The Wheat's really know what they are talking about...and it was fun to read with my new husband. I would recommend this book to everyone, not just Christians, who are about to make the jump to wedded bliss. Probably better to read a month before the wedding...otherwise that first night can be like fumbling around in the dark. Highly recommended.

Innovative and uplifting
Well worth the purchase, this book is full of easy and adaptable ideas to push your congregations into more meaningful prayer and contemplation. Author is Anglican (Episcopal) so has a secure dogma as a baseline - nothing fruity here! The prayer ideas involve all of the senses: taste, smell, touch listening to introduce some exciting ideas. Can't wait to try some of these.

Beechy's Book for Blokes with a Bible
This book has short accounts of 52 men in the Bible. With each one he makes a point that is relevant to modern men giving learning points and helping develop life skills with the aim of reaching maturity. The author is open about the fact that when he became a Christian as an Essex boy he had to buy a book on children's Bible stories to catch up on his Bible knowledge. I am glad to say though ...
Thank God It's Monday
Mark Greene
Scripture Union Publishing, 1997
"Fun, fast, and full of stories, this is an excellent book for anyone who feels that their ministry - evangelistic or otherwise - starts the moment they leave work and stops the moment they re-enter its doors. Mark Greene provides a theology of work that is sadly lacking in many churches, pointing out that most people work with non-Christians and yet never see them as potential Christians. He also challenges the pressure put on those who are ...

Too good not to have a copy
The title says it all. If you want to read the Bible for all its worth, you, not only read the book, but have to have your own copy. I borrowed the book from the library and started digging into it. There were many valuable Bible verses provided to illustrate and support the important points of the author's view. In order to gain the most from the book, I would need to go through all of these ...
